An automatic cat feeder with camera is a device that can be used to feed your cat and also take pictures or videos of them. This can be helpful if you want to keep an eye on your cat while you are away from home, or if you simply want to capture some cute moments of them eating or playing.
Many automatic cat feeders come with built-in cameras, so you will not need to purchase one separately.

Loved this when it was working! I bought it in January, it’s now May and it’s no longer working! It literally just stopped working out of nowhere! But I loved it at 1st, maybe I just got a bad one. I’m not sure, but my cat was doing great getting use to his schedule and he was losing weight.
I also loved that I could check in on him while I was at work and give him a little snack.
The CAT MATE C500 will serve meals at your pet’s normal meal times when you are away – during the day, evening or over the weekend. Suitable for feeding both wet and dry foods, the twin ice packs and close fitting lid help keep food fresh.
Just program the easy to use digital timer to the required meal times. Once set, all programmed feeds are visible on the LCD display. It features an easy to use digital timer which allows you to program individual meal times.
Requires 3 x AA batteries (not included) which will give over 12 months operation. The five large food compartments each hold lb. of food – enough for two cats or a small dog. The included twin ice packs help keep food fresh.
The Cat Mate C500 has an easy to clean, dishwasher-proof lid and bowl. Designed to be tamper resistant to pets, the C500 may be easily fastened to a wooden board for extra stability, if required.
This feeder was easy to setup. It is designed to serve four or five meals. The frozen cold packs in the bottom kept wet canned cat food cool for 4 hours, and if I’d refrigerated the food before filling the feeder it probably would have been good at 6 hours.
Dry food would probably be good for days even without the cold packs. The digital timer is simple to set. Whatever time you set, it will turn the feeder bowls at that time every day, so you can have it turn once a day or up to four times on one day, or each day.
It takes three AA batteries. I don’t know how long those batteries will last so I’ll probably make a note to change them every month or two. My cat had billious vomiting syndrome, which means that when hungry the stomach acid builds up and they throw up, before meals.
He would be okay in the daytime but overnight would be too long and every morning I would come down to find he’d thrown up before breakfast. (Leaving out dry food didn’t help, for some reason) Setting this timer up with a small meal to be served an hour before breakfast helped him make it through the night and saved my floor.
My kitty Ollie is so food obsessed that I can’t just leave a bowl of food out for him like I have my other kitties in the past. Ollie would eat every morsel in the bowl that had been intended for the whole day in 30 seconds and barf it right back up.
So I have had to feed him many small meals throughout the day for the last 3 years. Unfortunately, for this reason I haven’t been able to leave unlimited food out for him when I go to work, so he is always very hungry after not having eaten for 8 hours during my work day.
This month I have an amazing opportunity to go to a full time 2 week training course I am really excited about, however, it requires me to be away from home for 13 hours due to a long commute on top of the training.
Being gone that long is way to much time between meals for Ollie, so out of desperation I looked for options and was excited to find the Cat Mate 500! Wet food keeps Ollie feeling full much longer than dry food, and this is the first and only feeder I found that has ice packs that can keep the food cold and fresh for an extended time.
I actually divide soft food into serving sizes and freeze them for meals for the 3-5 meals just to help keep things extra fresh and cold so they have time to thaw during the day. (I don’t freeze the first and second meal since he’ll eat them fairly soon.
) I have used the feeder all week and it was worked AMAZINGLY WELL! Now I can go to my extended class knowing my kitty is happy and well fed through out the day 🙂 Such a relief! I will continue to use this when I return to my regular work schedule so he can continue eating frequent small meals when I’m gone.
This is an answered prayer seriously! I had bought him another brand of dry food programmable food dispenser last year but he just kept knocking it over and getting into the food no matter what I tried and that didn’t work out well at all.
But Ollie hasn’t been able to get into the cat mate 500 so it’s a big win! I was nervous he would try to get into it just like he did with the other brand of feeder. He actually did try to get into it for the first 2 days but he wasn’t successful and eventually he realized it would feed him so he has gotten used to it and everything is peaceful.
The timer was a little tricky at first because it was doing something a little weird and glitchy but it has been working find now all week. I couldn’t be happier!.
I purchased two of these C500 cat feeders to handle overnight and early morning feeding of my four cats (two Siamese, a Manx and an orange tabby). The C500s have been an absolute blessing. Now that Chewy is stocking replacement C500 ice packs, coupled with their reasonable return policy in case these auto feeders are not working out for you, there is no reason to buy this product elsewhere.
I have zero negative things to say about this product in my application. It works, and works well, IF you FOLLOW the following two recommendations: (1) READ THE MANUAL. It is not hard to program and use this product at all, the multi-language manual is excellent and very clear.
Just take the time to read and understand it regarding how to use the timer programming buttons. I found that the first one or two times I needed to have the manual in front of me, after that, I could handle the programming without the manual (fyi: I am 62 years old).
Do not be discouraged by other reviews disparaging how hard it is to program, it really is not IMHO, if you take the time to read the manual. (2) Pay attention to the following, which is listed in the manual and embossed on the hub of the rotating dish: “Important: DO NOT ROTATE BY HAND”.
I cannot stress how important this is, as failing to adhere to this can result in damage to the gear mechanism. It is easy to align the dish position to the mechanism, and if it does not align, it is a simple matter to adjust using the ADJ/SET and the UP arrow, which aligns it electronically without damage.
Just remember, NEVER EVER rotate it manually. It is my opinion that many of the complaints and disparaging remarks made about how this product performs can be traced back to someone not following this advice.
Once the gear mechanism is ruined because of manual rotation, it is ruined. That is the fault of the user and not the product in my honest opinion. The manufacturer has gone over and beyond to make this advice overwhelmingly clear.
My cats do not try to break in to the feeder, and the size and depth of the bowls do not seem to pose any type of impediment to the cats getting their heads in the bowls. This product just works, and is worth every penny in my opinion.
If you just keep the two tidbits of advice above in mind, you will have a great experience just as I did.
PetSafe Automatic 2 Meal Pet Feeder Running late? Don’t worry! This product will help you ensure your pet will never miss a meal. The PetSafe Automatic 2 Meal Pet Feeder feeds your pet on time whether you’re at home or away.
Use the dial timers to schedule your cat or dog’s meals up to 24 hours ahead of time, in ½-hour increments. With scheduled mealtimes, you can control your pet’s portions to keep them happy and healthy.
The removable inner tray has 2 compartments that each hold up to 1½ cups of dry or semi-moist food. Although your pet may use their paws to try and pry the feeder open, our tamper-resistant lids make sure that even the most persistent pets can’t get to their food ahead of schedule.
When you need to clean your pet’s feeder, simply remove the tray and place it in the top rack of the dishwasher. PetSafe brand is here to help you and your pet live happy together.
The PetSafe automatic two meal feeder is basically a double bowl with two separate covers, each controlled by its own battery operated timer. each timer can be set in half hour increments for up to 24 hours.
This feeder will work fine for people who wish to feed their small pet while they are at work or for feeding at a specific time of day (such as early morning or when they are normally otherwise unable to feed in person).
The timers, although functional as simple timers, are not user friendly. the single biggest problem is that there is no way to turn them off except to physically remove the battery, otherwise they are ALWAYS running and draining the battery.
In addition, because the timers run all the time, and the dish covers are mechanically held closed by the timers, there is no way to keep the covers closed. Again, On/Off switches would cure that. One other minor note is that I could never get both covers to open at the same time.
The best I could do was a three (3) minute differential. This really only comes into play if one has two pets which they feed at the same time, or a pet requiring more food than one compartment will hold.
The design of The two meal pet feeder incorporates two separate timer controlled covers, but only one two compartment dish. When either cover is closed, access to the other compartment is prohibited.
This is nice when washing the dish in the dish washer, provided both compartments are not in use. The overall construction of the feeder seems to be of good quality and should withstand extended use as long as the battery has a charge and the timers are working.
The size of each compartment would seem to be adequate for most small dogs and most cats and possibly for a medium sized dog if both compartments are used. Because of the relative light weight of the feeder, and the proclivity of pets, (dogs specifically) to use their nose when feeding, I would not recommend using one side for food and one side for water, unless floor protection is used.
Although this feeder seems well made and should function fine for certain families and their specific needs or routines; without some means to turn off or disconnect the timers, I can not recommend this otherwise convenient product.
I set this auto feeder to open during the night to keep my monster cat from trying to convince us he is starving at 3:00 in the morning. It pops open when I set it and he runs to it and eats. I put in just enough dry food to hold him til breakfast.
This feeder has been the only thing that works so far! Now, for the not so great stuff. 1-The timer does not let you set it for an exact time, just allows you to set if for how many hours into the future you want the top to open, so the timing isn’t always exact.
2 – It is also kind of lightweight so some cats might be able to push it around. 3 – It does not have a chime for when it opens (but you can hear it pop open if you are nearby). And lastly, 4 – It does not offer a way to use wet food because it does not have cooling mechanism to keep the food fresh.
There are other auto-feeders which might as well or better, but I gave it 5 stars because the pros of this device so far outweigh the cons for me. It has given my husband and I the ability to not wake be woken up throughout the night with no relief from a persistent, whining kitty! And oh, yeah.
it is very affordable and well worth the money for all it does.
Our cat loves to sing us the song of her people at 6am as encouragement to get up and FEED the cat. As you can imagine every morning at 6am sharp as if she has her very own kitty alarm clock set. we hear “Meow” followed by “Meow” and this process continues for a good 45 minutes.
At the 45 minute mark when she realizes that we are refusing to be awoken by her songs. she claws at our bedroom door. In desperation we open the bedroom door and go back to bed! Why negotiate with the tiny furry terrorist? The problem is that now that the door is open she has free reign to sing LOUDER and PROUDER! So she will continue to sing loud and proud the songs of her people to make sure we were well aware that her bowl is probably not actually empty, but needs to be filled anyways.
So she will continue with an enthusiatic “MEOW MEOW” for another fifteen minutes until our alarms officially go off at 7am. Now at 7am she feels that her reign of terror may officially begin and she will claw at the bed and/or jump on the bed to gain our full attention at the travesty that is her probably not empty bowl in the kitchen.
This product is saving my marriage, my door frame and my sleep! We can now set the two bowls to magically pop open at 6am and 6pm and our cat thinks we have some black magic going on however she is being fed at a proper hour now.
so she is happy. I am happy because I can sleep until my alarm and there is less home repair now. My only complaint is that the two bowls are connected, I wish they were separate so you could wash them, or even dump the food from one to the other to set one side, I tend to like to do things when I’m thinking about it, and since my cat likes to reign terror at 6am, if I think about the bowl at 3pm, it would be nice to just be able to dump the old food.
If I think about it at 7pm, I could combine all the food and then set it, etc. But that is a small complaint considering my tiny furry terrorist is leaving me alone in the morning. I’m not sure she’s happy that her food is magically appearing, but she’ll live!.

I’ve had this feeder over 3 years and love it. As an automatic feeder, 5 stars. As a feeder that keeps wet food cold throughout the cycle, 0 stars. I bought it to keep wet food cool, but it’s impossible for the packs to stay cool very long and it just gets gross in there.
My assessment is that no feeder could do this effectively. So we put dry food in this feeder and provide wet food on a plate at the regular feeding times. It’s great for middle of the night feedings to keep the cat happy and not wake us up.
It’s definitely not quiet, so your cat may be skeptical at first. Ours was very quick to learn that the noise means a tasty treat.
Compatible with Amazon Echo, so you can feed your cat or dog using voice commands. You can control your pet’s meals using your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone from anywhere. Get alerts directly to your phone and feed your furry friend on a schedule.
Design customized mealtimes—set up to 12 meals to feed on your pet’s schedule or use the Feed Now option to give her food outside normal feeding times. Food can be dispensed from 1/8 cup to 4 cups. Use the Slow Feed option to dispense food over a 15-minute period—this is great for pets who eat too fast.
I’ve always tried to be on a good schedule with feeding my dog, but, let’s face it life happens & our dogs/cats don’t always get fed when they should, sometimes it’s an hour past feeding time & you suddenly remember oh no! Or if you’re out of the house, either you depend on pouting a few bowls of food & hoping they don’t eat it all at once, or you depend on someone else to remember to come by.
Both instances are unreliable at worst & even at their best, it’s still throwing your pet off of their routine. Well, all of that is now solved with the Smart Feed by Pet Safe. Not only does it automatically dispense the exact amount of food multiple times a day, but there’s an app that you can control it with! REALLY easy to set up & not as big or bulky as you would think, it holds a lot of food in the reservoir & has a regular dispensing mode and a slow feeder mode for animals who eat too quickly.
To be honest, the slow feed mode is SUPER SLOW, for our large dog, it takes too long to dispense the 4 cups in slow mode & he was left just sitting there wandering where is food was. If the track system could be revamped, or a different bowl type given as an option, slow feed mode may work better, but as it is, for a large (over 100 lb) dog, it’s not helpful.
Otherwise, everything about the feeder has been super smooth, super easy & super convenient. most of all it is super reliable & allows us to have peace of mind about our dog having his meals if we are home or out of the house.
The app is an added benefit & before installing, I did check out the reviews. They are NOT all talking about the Smart Feed Dog & Cat Feeder though! This app is also made to work with a couple of their other products, so just keep that in mind if you see negative reviews.
The app downloads with no issues, gives you literal step by step instructions, has smooth UI, & connecting to the Feeder is super easy & quick. I had the app installed, connected and feeding my dog within 10 minutes, only took that long because I played around with the profile of our dog & the slow feed mode.
It stays connected to your phone as long as your wifi is on. Our wifi is thru our cable service, so it’s always on. The app let’s me know when his meal has been dispensed and had let me know when the food is getting low.
That’s been the only time I’ve had to touch it since I set it up! If you’re looking for a reliable, easy way to feed your pet (a really important part of having your pet is feeding them just like you feed yourself, on a schedule!), this is worth every penny.
It is a little pricey, but to take away all worries about amount, being on schedule & especially when gone from the house, it’s worth it! It’s also helpful for people like myself who are disabled. I don’t have to pull out his bags of food or the big tub of food and try to keep my dog away from me while I gather the 3-4 cups of food and take it to his bowl.
Nothing gets dropped & if you have nosey animals or pests, the lid locks tightly to the feeder, just like if it was in a Tupperware. The steel bowl keeps the feeder more sanitary & love that it isn’t plastic! Way better for my dog to eat from and lots easier to clean.
I cannot stop talking about how much I really like this feeder, the app & how smooth it has made everything food related with my pet! Definitely not going back to a regular bowl ever again, did I mention it has customer support & a warranty? Yeah, this is great & if you can pick it up on sale, do it!!! The peace of mind is amazing.
Now I just need Pet Safe to make a filter free but filtered watering system for my dog. Not a fountain or something that will make a mess (which btw, the feeder never misses the bowl or spills out over the bowl!), but if it could sit beside the feeder & look like a pair, I’d pay for that one as soon as it came out! Thanks for making an amazing feeding system with an easy, no frills app to make it even easier!.
I love this product! It’s a genius concept. My cats don’t portion-control well so this machine and easy-to-use app make it SO convenient to ensure they don’t have to eat their dinner late when I work late, since leaving out food for them isn’t an option because they will just eat it all! The app has a set-time feature, or a “feed now” option, and you can control how much to feed (in fractions of a cup) it’s REALLY great! I didn’t realize how “smart” the machine was until I set it up (which was easy to do) and I was thrilled with the many features and capabilities.
The ONLY small issue I’ve encountered has been the food hopper censor reporting the food is running “low”- even though there’s still plenty of food left. Because of this censor flaw, it will not dispense food because it detects that it’s “out of food” when there’s plenty left still.
The machine registers as “out of food” when I’d expect it to say “low”, and it reports “low” when it’s still pretty full. So that makes me nervous if I’m ever relying on the machine if I’m snowed-in somewhere or otherwise away for the night.
Luckily this is easily mitigated by just making sure it is really well-stocked at all times, but so far it’s happened twice- thankfully I was home and and noticed the machine hadn’t dispensed at the daily scheduled time, so no kitties went hungry during this censor flaw discovery! Don’t let this stop you from grabbing one of these, though! It really is a fantastic concept that has made cat ownership as a single person who commutes for work so much easier.
Just make sure to keep it well-stocked and I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I do.
I bought the Petsafe self waterer two of these feeders a few months back to feed our lab and pitty mix when we are gone. We have a doggy door and figured this would be great if we would be gone for the day.
The issue is that since we got them, we have not been able to get them to go off at the same time. My lab is very food driven and will eat both bowls if no one is there to intervene, which totally defeats the purpose of having automatic feeders.
If I wanted to have to feed them myself, I wouldn’t have invested quite a chunk of money to buy these bowls. I restarted, reprogrammed them etc, but I finally emailed support who told me tough luck essentially.
There is nothing they can do. Not sure in this day of clocks setting themselves how these bowls can’t be synched, but there you have it. As the title implies, this is a great feeder for one dog. More than one, your more passive do may not eat in the three minutes or so it takes for your second feeder to work.
Van Ness Automatic Dog & Cat Feeder, 0. 5-cup; Few things are more embarrassing than getting a phone call at work from a hungry pet who’s asking for a little more food. This stylishly designed gravity feeder automatically replenishes the food reservoir when levels get low.
Keep your pet’s food comin’ with the Van Ness Auto Feeder!.
I’m a loyal Chewy. com customer so was shocked to find they had added such a substandard product to their inventory. The product design was obviously made by someone who missed the point. The kibble holder part of the feeder should gradually allow the kibble to drop as cats eat the food.
The section meant to hold the kibble did not even marginally fit snugly to the stand. The opening to allow the kibble to drop into the bowl section is much too large. So, you end up with too much kibble spilling out into and over the edges of the too large bowl.
The only redeeming feature of this product is that it was made from partially recycled plastic.
I’m am a huge chewy fan & supporter and hate to give a negative review but this was no better than a dollar store container. The lid did not close evenly. The opening is to big it let’s out 3-4 cups of food at a time.
The bottom “bowl “ area depth is maybe 1/2 in so food flows over. I know it is inexpensive and you get what you pay for but it still wasn’t worth it. This is my 3rd attempt on a feeding bowl like this.
I was really looking forward to having this nifty little item but my excitement ended pretty much as soon as I started filling it. Two problems. First the plastic holder that you fill with the food doesn’t stay in place so you have to be really careful while filling it and don’t you dare try to move it once it is full.
You will have a big mess. Second, as the food comes out of the holder, it overflows out of the bowl. I think the whole is too large and lets out too much food all at once and then the sides of the bowl where the food comes out at aren’t high enough.
So food is constantly falling out. I only paid $3. 50 so not a big loss but definitely not even worth that.
The Healthy Pet Simply Feed is a convenient, automatic feeder that makes it easy to feed your pet on time. Stop worrying about who fed the cat or whether your dog will get fed on time. Your pet will get just the right amount of food right on time, no matter how busy your daily schedule is.
This fully programmable pet feeder automatically gives your pet each meal based on the portion and schedule you set. The feeder uses a conveyor belt to dispense food for the best portion control and accuracy.
The feeder works with most dry kibble and semi-moist pet foods. You can customize your pet’s meals with flexible portions from 18 – 4 cups and up to 12 meals per day. The Slow Feed option dispenses scheduled meals slowly over a 15-minute period to help prevent gulping, vomiting, and bloat.
The stainless steel bowl is hygienic and easy to clean; just toss it in the dishwasher when it gets dirty. With portion control and a consistent feeding routine, it’s easy to manage your pet’s weight or help with weight loss for your overweight pet.
I purchased this PetSafe Feeder, with the splitter, in anticipation of a trip where I would not be home to feed my feral cats. The feeder arrived promptly and in perfect condition. After many frustrating attempts to program the feeder, I called the company, and the representative guided me easily through the process.
The rep admitted that the booklet describing the set up steps is difficult to follow, so she gave me the link that has new directions in both video and written form, that is super easy to follow. Don’t give up on this great product just because you’re having difficulty setting it up.
Call the company! I was skeptical of the feeder because of some of the reviews, but I took a chance, and it worked beautifully for me. I did, however, have to raccoon-proof the feeder by rigging up a plastic tote and screwing the bowls into a piece of wood on which the tote sat.
The coon got to the splitter, but couldn’t get to the food source, so that’s a kink I still have to work out for future trips. I’d like to offer a suggestion to the company to create an add-on product that would be a raccoon-safe, tub-like container, that the feeder could be put in, so animals can’t get to the machine or the food.
I gave four stars, because I don’t like the design of the perfectly functional, but less than durable splitter. I didn’t need the separation “wall,” though some cat households might. Although the coon broke the splitter, it still works.
I purchased this feeder about a month ago and now it has stopped working. Below is a summary of my experience for anyone considering purchasing it: 1) It runs off of D batteries and after a month of use, it showed the batteries were low.
You can purchase a power adapter for it, but that’s separate and does not come with it. One month for battery life is not ideal for me. 2) When you replace the batteries, you have to reprogram the whole thing.
3) When you need to replace the batteries, or troubleshoot the conveyor belt, you have to make sure you dump out all of the food. You can’t lift the food compartment out as it floods the internal workings with food pellets, so you need to make sure to dump it all out first, then you can proceed.
I mean, my cat loved this part, but it wasn’t my favorite mistake to make. 4) It was NOT intuitive to program/understand. Sure, I was able to do it after reading the manual a few times and going step by step through the instructions and pushing through frustration etc, but it’s challenging.
5) After a month of use, it stopped dispensing food. The problem wasn’t the mechanism, but rather, the display would not progress to the next meal time and when I tried to manually get it to dispense, no luck.
I once again poured through the manual with no luck, I replaced the batteries, reprogrammed it and yep, still not working. I’m returning it and looking for a feeder that is a little more user friendly.
We had ARF pets feeder which was wonderful until it broke after just a year. I needed a reliable brand feeder that could last longer. This one had great reviews and I see some people stated they had for years.
I really wanted to love this one, I like the mechanics of it with the conveyor belt which prevents kibble getting janmed- which was a recurrent issue with the previous feeder. Also the set up although a bit complicated has more features than others.
With that being said, I am still trying to work with the feeder to get my dog to eat from it. I don’t know why but my dog is afraid of it and doesn’t want to go near it. It may be the loud noise of kibble falling on the stainless steel plate.
My dog was fine with the other feeder because the food came from the bottom and didn’t drop on the plate like this one. I tried replacing the plate with a different type of plate, not stainless steel and also tried using the plate from the old feeder but still she won’t go near it.
When the food drops she wants to eat but instead she starts crying. I also tried taping a plastic “slide” that will slide the food from it to the palate and move the feeder back so it is further away.
Still no. I will keep trying to train my dog to overcome her fear. This feeder is potentially an amazing feeder but right now I can’t seem to get any use of it. *BTW, really hated the fact that you need to buy the cord separately.
The Instachew INFINITY app enabled Purechew Automatic Pet Feeder combines practicality and aesthetics. This elegant pet feeder allows you to automate feeding, control portions, keep food fresh AND see your cat or dog with its HD camera! You can schedule meal times for your pet to immediately dispense their food, whether you are at home or travelling!.
I just got this a few days ago and have been working with Instachew customer service which was not very helpful, they responded quickly, but overall told me the same thing that were in the FAQs that I had already tried.
I am returning it. I would say don’t waste your time. I don’t know if its an IOS vs Android issue? So maybe if you have an Android it’ll work? No idea. It wouldn’t pair at all- just beeps. This is everything I tried in case anyone wants to know! This is everything I have done: tried QR mode, EZ Mode, AP Mode, Cable Mode Reset router Checked privacy settings uninstalled reinstalled app triple checked password is correct tried on a different phone tried on an ipad attempted from a laptop but it isn’t set up like that turned feeder off and on reset by holding button down disconnected cord then reconnected cord renamed my network so only letters reset network made sure on 2.
I’ve had a couple different automatic pet feeders throughout the years. This one was pretty simple to assemble. The accompanying QR code for the required app was an added benefit, and the included instructions were easy to follow.
The stainless steel bowl was the deciding factor in my decision to choose this feeder over several others. The bowl will be much easier to wash thanks to this, which appears to be of great quality. When I recently needed a pet sitter for a few days while I was out of town, she suddenly became unavailable.
Before I left, I ordered this feeder so that I would have time to set it up and test it out. One word sums it up: AMAZING! Highly recommended feeder for all pet lovers!.
Instachew is a god send and game changer! We’ve upgraded from the first gen feeder to this one and we love it! (We gave the her first one to our friend and they love it too). It gives us peace of mind knowing Mila (our kitty) will be fed on time even when we can’t be there in person and that it’s portion controlled.
I can check in on her via camera and even screenshot her being a cutie 😀 Also love the Instachew team, their customer service has always been A +. Instachew is like upgrading your pet from using dial up internet to fibre optics high speed internet.
It’s like using a those 90s chunky cell phones vs newest smart phone lol. My cat is decked out and she deserves it <3 Get the feeder, check out the fountain and the litter machine and you’ll thank me later.
You’ll save time too and time is money/irreplaceable :).

I have three cats and this has turned out to be the best thing I ever got for feeding them. I usually keep dry food out all day but because one of my cats is overweight and I’d like to monitor how much food he eats it’s been difficult to do so until now.
This Pet Genius Smart Wi-fi Video Pet Feeder with Camera has been the answer. I don’t have to leave food out all day anymore and can just feed them their dry food a couple of times a day automatically (yes, they also get canned food for one meal as well to keep them healthy).
I don’t want my overweight cat to end up with health problems like diabetes, so this has been a wonderful solution for me. The other thing that is so cool is that I can talk to them while they’re eating or to call them over to eat when the food is released.
You should see the looks on their faces wondering where I am. They are so puzzled by it all which is quite comical. We’re retired and occasionally travel and the worst part has been not being able to check on our fur babies while we’re out of town (my daughter stays with them).
Now I can see them, talk to them and let them know I’m still around somewhere and they can hear my voice which they love. This has become one of my favorite things for my cats (and a fun thing for me too)! I don’t know who thought this up but Genius does perfectly cover it!.
This feeder is so awesome. I use it for my dog(70 lbs) and it holds enough food for us to feed him a few times. It has made it so easy when we’re planning a day or more away from home. The app that you use with it was simple to get and set up.
And has a very easy user interface. Thr camera on this feeder is phenomenal for being on an animal feeder! It is such great quality. My dog at first was a little leary of the feeder, because its something new.
But once he realized it was giving him food. he quickly warmed up to the new machine in the kitchen haha The only downside I’ve found is that the wifi tends to disconnect randomly. I haven’t figured out why ot how to fix it as no other wifi connected things in the house do this.
Its not enough that makes it unusable, just frustrating. Over, this might not be an everyday thing we use, but we 100% will use it when we know we’re going to be away for a while. Loving it for that!.
This is a great feeder! With our busy schedule we only feed our dog twice a day, but with this we can schedule feedings throughout the day and tell our pup it’s time to eat through the speaker, then we can watch through the camera to make sure she heard the call and is eating the food.
It was a little tricky to get connected to our wifi and took a couple of resets but once it was connected we have had no issues with the signal. Playback only works if you have an SD card or a subscription to the cloud storage service.
Feeding can also be done manually if needed and even if you’re not feeding your pet you can use the camera and speaker to talk to your pet.

We feed our cats mostly canned food. These are nice simple feeders, with dials to set instead of digital settings which can be tricky to program. This feeder comes with an included ice pack to keep food cold and fresh until it opens.
Though it thaws, the food stays fresh. They do suggest that if you are going to leave the food longer than a few hours, to actually freeze the food before putting it in the feeder that way even after the ice pack thaws, the food will also take time to thaw.
I think putting the food in the bowls, cover with wrap, then freezing before putting it in the unit is easier than trying to get frozen cat food out of the can. Each bowl can hold a whole can of food (the 5oz cans) so good for households with multiple cats.
The bowls are easily removeable to clean. I have two of these so I can stagger their feedings. I also would suggest (1) taking the battery out when not in use to keep it from running out unexpectedly and (2) leave a back up bowl of dry just in case the units malfunction.
I don’t expect them to but since anything can happen, better safe than sorry!.
We used this consecutively for 6 days while on vacation. It helped my neighbor from having to come over multiple times a day. The ice pack provided gave piece of mind that the food would be chilled at least until the next feeding.
Buy extra ice packs so one can be freezing while the other is in use. I also purchased the stainless steel inserts for sanity reasons. Nobody has time for your furry children to get chin acne while on vacation.
Honestly, that should be a standard feature in my opinion. For the price and for our needs at the time I would recommend.
So i heard cats need to eat every 6-8 hours, and we should feed them an hour before bed, and we should not wake up to feed them. idk about you but i can’t do all those things; if i feed my cat by the first two rules, then i have to wake up, or at least did.
i have some pretty bad health issues and trouble sleeping so sometimes getting woken up by my cat was pretty miserable. The icepack can stay cold long enough for this, it opens fairly quietly but still attracts my cat’s attention, it doesn’t smell (for instance plastic smell other things might have), and it cleans easily.
it never stops ticking which is a little odd but fine. i even decided to put a little treat in the extra slot to reward my cat a bit for a quiet night and it’s going well. She’s tried to break into it but hasn’t managed yet, i think if anything it just tires her out which is helpful in its own way.
I think we both like this solution and i would definitely recommend it.
The SureFeed microchip feeder is a development of the manufacturer of the multiple award-winning SureFlap microchip cat and pet flaps. It reads and recognizes your pet’s microchip or RFID collar tag and opens only to stored animals.
In this way it ensures that special feed is eaten exclusively by the right animal and prevents the excessive ingestion of food by specific animals in multi-animal households. The SureFeed microchip feeder can store up to 32 different animals and is therefore ideal for use in multi-cat households.
One push of a button is all it takes to put the device into operation. Shy animals can be gradually accustomed to the use of the automatic feeder with the integrated training mode.
We have 3 of these feeders in the house for our 3 cats. At $150 a pop, we thought it would be a good investment to help curb some food theiving while we are not present. One of our cats, Eevee, is a grazer.
She won’t eat her food in a single sitting, but rather eat a bit, then wander off for awhile. Maybe an hour later, she’ll go back to nibble on it and leave again. Repeat until the next meal. if it weren’t for Hades.
Now, we got the feeders before Hades came into the house. Tempest, our other cat, is very food motivated and would gorge herself on any food available. We tried a slow feeder so Eevee had time to eat her food, but when that failed we went ahead and got the SureFeed.
It helped immensely! She took to it immediately thanks to the treats trick, and Tempest couldn’t eat Eevee’s food, so all was well. Then Hades cane to live with us. He ate Tempest’s food, so we got her the SureFeed.
But, since her food was now behind an easy-to-pass barrier, she went after Hades’ food. So we ended up getting a third SureFeed, which we thought the investment was worth it. Well, eventually he started to budge Eevee out of her feeder.
It stayed open even though there wasn’t the correct microchip within the halo; sometimes Eevee would be 20 feet from her feeder and it would still be open for Hades to devour her food. So we set up Intruder mode, which worked for a bit.
But it would close on Eevee’s face while she was the only cat within 3 feet of the feeder. She used to leave the feeder because of that, and basically go without eating for a long time because it kept closing on her, but we got her to eat again after some coaxing.
Now, you would think this fixed the issue. But Hades is highly food motivated. And he learned how to use one claw to pry the cover open and stick his paw in, then use that same claw to hook the bowl inside and yank it out.
It’s been clear across the kitchen before from him breaking into her feeder. I’ve caught videos of him doing it, and have been in contact with the company. They did not believe that a cat could break into the feeder in this way, but I sent them the video, and have not heard back from them! Well, as it is, the feeders prevent the majority of food theft between the cats, which was the purpose.
But it also caused more issues for the cats, with it closing on their faces. Hades’ feeder sometimes stays open after he’s done eating, for up to 5 minutes, and Tempest goes in and cleans up anything he didn’t eat.
And yes, it’s on the fast close speed. And sometimes his feeder refuses to open for him, so he breaks into his OWN feeder!.
With three cats, each developing their own dietary needs, I bought two units, crossing fingers it would work and it has. Set up: really easy. Training cats: Can take time so be patient, especially with skittish cats.
The unit has stages and each cat responded a little differently. We are three weeks in and the two with feeders are now used to the lid moving when they step on the pad. Irony: the cat without a feeder took to it on day one, but he has food security issues so hardly surprising.
My guess is it will take another 2-3 weeks for the other two to be fully comfortable with it. Worth the initial outlay, I am really happy I tried it. The greater control over their diet will reduce (hopefully) vet visits.
I will be getting a third in time. Negatives: can’t be run on rechargeable batteries (no idea why). Determined cats can access food from the back when unit is open, which they sell a guard for. Sized for cats under approx.
7kgs. I have a cat whose healthy weight is 6kg (yes, he is a unit, no he is not a specific breed) and while he can fit, there is not a lot of space. He wasn’t phased, though so I guess its a cat by cat thing.
This device is a waste of money. Works initially but then after a few weeks it starts having “problems”, behaving as if it’s in training mode even though the training mode light isn’t on, struggling to open the lid at all or close after the cat has left and making a whining noise like it’s trying but just can’t do it.
I’ve only had mine since for 5 months and i have had to change the 4 C cell batteries twice already, I’m using the recommended Alkaline batteries and can’t get more than 8 weeks out of them before the feeder starts to struggle to do its basic functions.
It doesn’t even make it to the “red light” stage of needing batteries replaced. I’m at a loss, and feel that all the positive reviews are from the first few weeks of use because after speaking to a few people who own or have owned one of these they all cited the same issues I’m having.
This is especially disappointing since there seem to be few to no other options on the Australian market. I will be submitting a refund request I guess and going back to feeding my elderly cat in a separate room.
Easy to use 48 hour timer. Requires 1 x AA battery (not included) for approximately 12 months operation. Two large food bowls each hold up to 400g (14 oz. ) of food with ice pack to keep food fresh. Optional lid-link clip ensures simultaneous opening of both lids for feeding two cats.
Easy to clean, removable, dishwasher-proof lids and bowls. Tamper resistant to pets and fly proof. May be easily fastened to a wooden board for extra stability, if required. Keep your cats and dogs fed and happy while you’re out of the house with the C200 Automatic Pet Feeder.
This modern food dispenser from Cat Mate features two timer-operated compartments, which open to serve 400g of wet food at the times of your choosing. If you’ve got two cats or a small dog, you can link the lids, so they open at the same time, to save any dinnertime duels! There can be a gap of 48 hours between the servings, meaning this two-bowl feeder is a handy solution if you’re away for the weekend.
You can also use it when you’re at home, of course – this new device should keep your pets distracted while you work from home or enjoy a hard-earned weekend sleep-in!.
This works reasonably well for awhile. However, once the battery dies, the timer starts to slow down. You set the timer for 12 hours, and at 5am when it should pop open to feed your cat. there’s still an hour left, and the cat is howling for food.
It’s also not very precise – there are 48 hours on the dial, so you can easily be off by 15 minutes if you’re trying to set it to open at a specific time. Works well if you need it to feed your cat over a long weekend while you’re away; not so much as an every day early morning breakfast feeder.
This is my 3rd cat mate. The previous two lasted me many years but the last one needed replacement. This new one is the best. Much easier to clean. The plastic food bowls have curved corners and seem to be smoother so cleaning is easier.
I am so glad that my existing cold packs still fit! I have accumulated 4 packs which I rotate.
We have made good use of this feeder for overnight trips. We hang it from the ceiling and let the food fall onto the floor for our 4 cats They have fun chasing the dispersed food and it keeps any one cat from gobbling all the food.
In fact, we have developed enough confidence in the feeder to order another one so we can occasionally be gone for two nights, though I still like to have someone come by the house to check on them and be sure the feeders are working properly.
Our only complaint is that the feeders are not designed to be used vertically and the lid sometimes falls off after it opens, but this is not a real problem.
The via patented access control helps stop your pets from stealing food from one another. May be used by cats and dogs! Portion controlled feeding for as many as six feedings per day. High-quality durable construction.
The large storage hopper can hold up to 32 cups of dry food.
So like the title says, I was unsure about this feeder at first but decided to drop the cash to give it a try. It obviously isn’t cheap, but there aren’t really any good competitors on the market and this actually allows you to control the amount of food in addition to which pet eats it.
Anyway, there are quite a few settings and I settled on it being closed all the time, and only opening when the one cat with the tag gets nearby. Then when she’s done eating and leaves, it’ll close after a few seconds.
I didn’t buy any extra tags for the other cats, and so far it looks like I didn’t need them so that works. The tags are a bit big, but if you zip tie it to the collar itself, instead of hanging it from the collar, it really isn’t that bad at all and my rather small cat isn’t bothered by it.
I will say that my cat was really timid at first as the noise scared her. But I slowly coaxed her to get used to it by leaving a trail of treats to it, and including treats on/in the feeder for her. Over a few days she finally got over her fear of it, and now she eats out of it normally without being bothered by the noise.
So be prepared to train your cat to use it if they’re initially terrified of it like mine. So in the end I’m able to give her prescription food without worrying about the other cats stealing it. I may eventually buy more feeders, one for each of the other cats to give them individualized diets.
In any case, for now I really recommend this – it turned out perfect IMO.
We have an adult cat on prescription cat food and a 6 month old kitten who was eating the adult cat’s food. We keep the feeder open and the kitten is the unassigned pet. The feeder closes when she approaches and she’s gotten used to the “rejection” that she doesn’t approach the feeder as much.
She also has learned the 3 foot perimeter and stays away when our adult cat is eating! Our adult cat, who’s very sensitive, got used to the new feeder quickly. Also portions out her food which is great.
Works wonderfully and we no longer have to worry, especially when we’re not home. I highly recommend this feeder. The peace of mind is worth the money.
Our 1. 5 yr old golden retriever has food anticipation issues, such that around 5 AM, he would vomit up a bit of bile. As every dog owner knows, there is no better alarm clock than your dog vomiting in the middle of the night.
Our pup was put on a low dose of acid reducer, but this only helped for a while. We thought, what if we could feed him just a small portion in the middle of the night? The problem, another golden retriever pup that we affectionately call “Kobayashi”.
To avoid Kobayashi eating our other dog’s food, we bought two of these. Now both dogs get fed around 3 AM, without much problem. They even figured out that going to the other’s dish results in its closure, so we are no longer listening to the feeder doors at 3 AM (which can be a bit annoying).
Moral of the story, our pup is no longer on acid reducing medication, AND he has not vomited overnight since. We do have 3 issues: 1. The feeder has a minimum number (2) of feedings for dogs, therefore, the feeder actually dispenses part of their overnight snack at least 1 hr prior to dispensing the other half.
It would be helpful if you could set the number of meals dispensed to one. 2. The feeder lights up the screen and provides an Err 03 code when a dog has not visited it for more than 16 hr. It would be helpful to have a more descriptive error symbol, AND this feature should be able to be turned on/off.
3. It would be useful to have a mobile app and connectivity to the feeders through a wireless network, so that changes could be done through the app, AND so that notifications could be sent about the feeder (e.
g. , when food was dispensed, how much, when was it visited, etc. ) Overall, we are pleased with the feeders, and they function exactly as described. However, make sure to purchase any extra tags AND extra dog bowls (if you would like to rotate them while you wash the previously used ones) at the SAME TIME you purchase the feeder(s).
The shipping for these items after this is highway robbery.
The PetSafe Six Meal Feeder is designed for the busy pet parent. It is great for feeding your pet during the day while at work or while traveling for the weekend. Use the digital clock to program six pre-portioned meals per fill — whether its six smaller meals a day, two meals a day for three days or one large meal every day for six days.
Each tray slot holds 1 cup of dry dog or cat food, plus the bowl holds 1 cup for an extra meal that is ready-to eat. If you want to immediately dispense the next scheduled meal, simply push the Feed Now button.
The remaining meals will dispense at their scheduled times. To stop the feeder from dispensing food without losing your programmed meals, press the Sleep Mode button. The PetSafe Six Meal Feeder keeps your pets healthy feeding routine no matter where you are.
I needed a feeder for my cat where I could portion very small amounts of dry food over the day. She has GI disease and tends to eat fast and will vomit if her stomach is empty and I don’t feed her. I often feel held hostage so this feeder is helping tons.
it allows me to leave her for 8 hours during the day and she is being fed while I am gone and she is happy! Pro: not noisy, the sound of the food dropping signals to my kitty to come and eat, 6-meal slots is great, pretty easy to set.
Cons: Need to press the numbers hard as I notice when setting times it doesn’t always take, wish the entire tray/insert was removable so I can clean it, the whole feeder is a bit bulky. I also really need to buy a second one, as I use the one I purchased for the day time and it is a pain to reset for night feeds.
so I wish the price was a little lower so I could buy a second one or even wish they made a mini version of this one ie. same look just smaller and 3-4 meals.
This is a great feeder! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the timer on one has moved a few seconds off in the past month. I have 2 feeders that used to dispense at almost exactly the same time and now there is at least 20 seconds different and the submissive cat is sad when only one feeder releases.
I will try to fix it and get the clocks back together, but that is a downside so that is why it has 4 and not 5. It does, however, accomplish EXACTLY what I wanted it to. I wanted to be able to comfortably leave my cats for an evening or even a little bit longer without needing to worry.
Unlike other feeders, there is no way for my clever cat to reach up into the feeder for snacks between meals. I feed my cats twice per day, so it holds 3 days worth of food. Personally, I never want my cats to not be checked on longer than that anyways, so it is perfect for me.
It is operated by D batteries, so no need to worry about power outage or location near an outlet either. It was very easy for me to set up.
You can operate this automatic pet food dispenser through unit control or the AutoPets Connect app, which offers customizable programming options for your pet’s mealtime needs from the convenience of your phone.
Steaming pile of fail from almost every imaginable perspective. Mechanical: The food flapper is “designed” so that it can be put on forward and backwards, but will only work properly one way. If you put it on backwards, you’ll have to empty the feeder and clean a giant mess of kibble and kibble dust that’ll get everywhere (there’s no way to empty the robot without making a giant mess).
All they had to do was either design the flapper to be reversible, design the flapper to only insert in one direction, allow a full hopper to be emptied easily, or even just put an arrow indicating “hey, this has to go on this way”.
But none of their D-grade mechanical engineers thought of any one of those things. Software Design: The iOS app is a horror show of bad attempts at minimalist design by people that don’t understand minimalism.
Toggle buttons whose state is indecipherable because they thought it looked cool to have state just be a light shading behind one of two options. Error states (i. e. failure to login) that don’t present any error messages, just throw up some red highlighting.
Bad user name? Bad password? Failure to contact the server? You decide! There are many other examples, it’s an ocean of D-grade face palms. Software Functionality: The app stopped connecting to the robot.
No problem, I’ll restart the app. After restarting the app, the robot disappeared entirely. No problem, I’ll reconnect. Oops, “that serial number is already in use” (no duh, maybe check if it’s mine?).
Closed the app again, now the app login is broken (the website login works fine on the same device, but as per usual with flash over function designs you can’t control the robot from an actual computer, you need the terrible app).
Now the robot can’t connect to WiFi at all, because the connection procedure was interrupted. So the feeder is now bricked because they didn’t think about, design, or document any obvious way to reset or recover.
The kind of amateurish D-grade design you get from novice programmers that think their code is the one special snowflake in the universe that will never malfunction. Support: Maybe? Supposedly chat should be available, but after entering all your info prepare for “no agents available”.
You can call support, but prepare to listen to a forced five minute advertisement about how great litter robots are before you get to a phone tree of any kind. Yeah, that’s not at all rage inducing. I’m already calling you, I’m obviously already interested or invested in your products – only a D-grade sales team would try to keep selling the customer into a blind rage instead of just getting somebody on the phone as quickly as possible.
Bottom line, adjust your expectations to a $49 piece of disposable trash you’d find in the clearance aisle at a Walmart, and you won’t be disappointed.
I have ZERO REGRETS about purchasing this automatic feeder! I have spent a lot of money buying other automatic feeders off of Amazon, only to find that the kibble has jammed up in them and it doesn’t drop down the chute properly.
I love that this feeder allows you to control portions, let’s you give snacks, tracks how full the container is and notifies you when meals are dispensed. I know it’s a big decision to make such a big purchase, but honestly I would highly recommend buying one! I wish this had been on the market when the litter robot first came out.
It didn’t become available until some time later, but I purchased it when it first became available and was so glad I did. I opted to buy a glass dish because one of my cats struggles with chin acne, so it helps keep things nice and hygienic.
It makes going out of town a whole lot easier. I don’t have to stress if the kitties get fed on time or not. It has yet to fail on me and I’ve had it for over a year now. I am really happy with my litter robot products and the automatic feeder is no different! I use Purina One food in it, and have had zero issues with it holding the kibble or jamming.
I would 100% purchase one again if I needed to. It’s worth every penny!.
After a long weekend trip in which we almost didn’t make it back on the intended day due to a flight cancellation, and we couldn’t rely on a cat sitter because my partner hadn’t fulfilled his responsibility to find one, I decided enough was enough and looked for an automatic feeder for our cat.
After reading multiple articles and watching several YouTube review videos, I decided on the Feeder Robot. The first one I received ended up having a defect, and when I emailed and called Whisker customer service, they were very responsive and helpful and provided me a replacement right away.
With the second Feeder Robot, I followed Whisker’s instructions for getting my cat accustomed to it, and he was adjusted to it in less than a week. It’s been over a month now, and everything is working great.
We’ve also needed to put our cat on a diet, and the Feeder Robot makes this very easy with the 1/8 cup portion dispenser. I know the Feeder Robot is expensive, but this device is worth every penny. Not only does it automate a tedious daily task, but it also gives me peace of mind that my cat will have food if I’m ever delayed in getting back home.

I will say the wifi set up was irritating but once I figure it out it was super easy. It notifies me everytime it’s about to run out of food, everytime food is dispensed, you can change portions easily and can feed your get as many times a day.
It does beep loudly but you can turn that off, you can also disable the push to dispense. My cat hasn’t tried to get extra food out of it I don’t think it’s possible. I love the product, I haven’t had an flaws yet besides the wifi struggle.
At last, we can have lay ins! Worth its weight in gold! Set to go off preventing the cat from waking us up early, especially as it summer draws closer and if we are running late home we can use the app to add some more food to prevent our cat becoming stressed due to lack of food.
Very happy with my purchase! My kittens love them and gives me peace of mind when I’m not at home knowing that their portions are more controlled than free-feeding. Would definitely recommend for cats that enjoys their food a bit too much!.

Absolutely horrible product please do yourself the favor and do not buy this. You have to configure your WiFi to work on 2. 4 ghz and takes forever to connect to your phone. Read all the apple App Store reviews product is just as bad as they say.
This premium feeder features twin ice packs and a close-fitting lid to keep food fresh longer. A digital timer with LCD display allows easy programming of your pet’s meal times. The feeder is battery powered, running for up to 12 months on 3 AA batteries (not included).
The feeder is tamper resistant and may be easily fastened to a wood board for additional stability, if needed.
If you have cats or dogs, then you know just how they seem to sense when it’s mealtime. And if you’re late with a meal? Well, they’ll let you know. Unfortunately, sometimes life happens, and work obligations, traffic, or last-minute errands mean you’re not always home to feed your pet on time.
Our Pet Genius Automatic pet feeders can take care of that task for you. These feeders can be preprogrammed to feed your pet when you’re not available. Your pet won’t have to wait for you, you won’t have to scramble to find a pet sitter, and your pet can continue to eat on a regular schedule.
A perfect pet feeder should be featured with the required aspects necessary to cater to all your pet issues. It should be a good friend of your pet which neither allows the pets to starve nor tends them to eat too much.
Select a perfect pet feeder which can manage all the health complications of your pet. The best thing about the Pet Genius pet feeder is that it allows you to keep regulation on the food of your pet.
With the help of the unit, you can control how much food your pet eats. You can go to work with no tension in your mind as you are backed with the automatic pet feeder which has been programmed to dispense the desired amount of proper doses of food in the frequent interval during the day.
Don’t be fooled by all the other reviews that were “Part of a Paid Promotion. ” This is a well built, but extremely poorly designed and engineered piece of junk. It sure looks real nice though. Nicely designed asthetically, which is too bad because it’s TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.
First, it WILL NOT FEED YOUR PET if it loses wi-fi connectivity. REALLY REALLY DUMB!! It should function at all times if it loses the wi-fi, so your pet doesn’t starve to death. NO reason it could not be designed to do so.
This is NOT explained in the product description, and it’s not even in the pathetic “Manual,” which is nearly useless. You must have the APP on your phone, which is great when it works – which it rarely does.
My feeder is right nearby my router and yet it constantly loses connectivity numerous times daily and kitty goes hungry. There is no way to rectify this, so this bad-boy is useless. In addition, you can’t even tell if a feeding was missed because the app won’t keep track if it loses connection.
So, nice try. It looks nice. I wanted to like it, but it’s going back. No BUENO!!!!!.
Overall we like this unit for our cat. The hopper holds a lot of food, more than a weeks worth for our cat. I already had the app needed to start the unit, so that was helpful. It’s easy to use. My cat adjusted to this right away! We have set the voice notification for when it’s feeding too.
The only thing I wish worked a little better was the adjusting of the food dispensed. How it works is there’s a wheel with small compartments that the food drops into. Then as your timer hits, the wheel turns to dispense the food into the bowl.
You adjust the number of times the wheel turns for each feeding to increase the amount of food. We had to go to a little overfeeding in the morning (3 servings) then underfeeding in the evening (2 servings) to get the correct amount of food for the day.
I still would recommend this product. My cat comes running when he hears the signal.
We use this feeder to feed our dog Shadow when we are at work. We still manually feed him morning and night as our kids like to do it. I have tested this thing thoroughly and it consistently delivers the amount I wanted.
We have a golden retriever and feed him a quality food that doses him to a cup 3 times a day. This feeder will use all the available feed steps to produce 1 cup of his food. Works out perfect for us as he is a large breed dog, and this feeder is more suited for smaller breeds as the hopper isn’t huge and at its max setting it feeds about 1 cup.
We love it. The setup was easy and after setting it up I havent used the app much. You can record your voice and theres a manual feed button that moves the mechanism one step each time. Useful for giving your dog a treat.
You can use the app to do more steps at once manually. We have used this with no issues and are very happy with it.

Your cat will love this feeder. It’s nice to be able to dispense small portions throughout the day to better control the cat’s food intake so he doesn’t overeat. The best part of this automatic cat feeder is that it has a backup power alert battery.
This battery alerts you if there has been a power failure which means your food bowl will not stop working. You never have to worry about your cat going hungry because once the power comes back on, all settings will automatically start as intended again.
The cat gets excited when he hears the food dispense!.
I got this feeder for my cat. This feeder is easy to program and clean. The bowl can be removed from the holder for washing. My cats get fed on a regular schedule and in the correct amounts. Its great for people like me that travel often or work long hours away from home.
I just fill up the hopper and the dispenser takes care of the rest. I highly recommend it!.
The feeder works well for our cats. It’s easy to figure out how to use and especially good for when we’re not home to feed them. Also helpful for portioning their food and making sure they’re not overeating.
There are a few things to keep in mind when using an automatic cat feeder with a camera. First, make sure that the feeder is securely mounted to a wall or other sturdy surface. Second, keep the camera lens clean and free of debris.
Third, be sure to check the feeder regularly to ensure that it is working properly and that the food levels are adequate. Finally, if you have multiple cats, make sure to keep their food dishes separate to avoid conflict.
