DiaResQ really works best for me and within about 15 to 30 minutes. My stomach rejects other diarrhea remedies, except kaopectate. But, kaopectate makes unwanted side effects. So glad this product has been created.

I can’t even tell if it works because the flavor is so bad that my child is gagging with every sip. He’s almost thrown up multiple times and he’s not that kind of sick, just diarrhea. He can’t get it down.

And he loves mints! He says it smells fine, but the flavor is horrid. What’s wrong with a kid friendly flavor? I know I’m not the first to encounter this problem as I’ve read other reviews commenting on the awful flavor.

I have used this medicine a couple of times on my kids. I love that it works quickly. My complaints are the flavor(I have to fight one of my kids to take it!) and the other is why don’t you put this in a chewable or come out with more flavors.

My veterinarian recommended a daily probiotic for my 19 year old cat, who suffers from severe, chronic diarrhea and vomiting secondary to chronic renal failure (CRF) and hyperthyroidism. I purchased the BeneBac, because it’s the least expensive in-store option in my city and I trusted this brand of supplements, from past experience.

When I got it home, I was surprised that the instructions said to dose only once a week (7 days). I decided to give it a try, anyway. I must say his vomiting has stopped almost completely. Each time I have given BeneBac, my cat’s diarrhea has improved dramatically for 2 days.

His stool becomes well formed and not watery. By day 3, he is back to loose stools. On days 4-7, he has severe, watery diarrhea and is dehydrated (his baseline condition before starting BeneBac). He has tested negative for intestinal parasites, and this is simple chronic diarrhea.

I plan to try other solutions. I want to keep him on a probiotic, as my vet recommends it. If he doesn’t respond better to a daily dose probiotic, I will continue the BeneBac, as I believe the 2 days respite each week has enabled him to survive this long.

My dad has taught me from a young age back in our fair going days of eating everything fried and horrible for your gut to take imodium before you go so you’re not stuck in a bathroom while there. Imodium is my go to emergency pill for stomach issues and the multi symptom drastically reduces any gas/discomfort within a half hour of taking.

The pills are a little rough to get down and could benefit being coated, but if that slows down the release then I’m good with it staying as is! The only other gripe is the packing is not tearable. I can usually find a way into pill pouches by tearing or scratching up the paper from the corner but to no avail with these.

Opening with scissors is the only way I can do it. So maybe look into the packaging. But effectiveness gets my 5 stars!.

I have been in awe at how well and at how quickly this stuff works. I originally bought the tablets, which worked so beautifully, that I picked up the liquid version. However, I think I’ll be sticking with the tablets as I, personally, had a hard time with this liquid version.

The mint flavor wasn’t a problem, but the thick texture was tough for me. Still, it worked amazingly and the texture may not affect others as it did me. I am receiving points towards rewards for leaving this review, but I honestly would’ve left one even if I wasn’t.
