September 1st Marks The Third National Acne Positivity Day. La Roche-Posay founded this day in 2020 to spread acceptance for all skin, encourage others to embrace their unique acne journeys, and foster healthy relationships between people and their skin! I was so GRATEFUL to receive these products right during that “time of the month” which is generally the only time I really experience break outs! You know hormones lol 😂 I can TRULY say these products are INCREDIBLE and really work! My skin stayed clear through-out my “time of the month” and my hormonal acne didn’t stand a chance! I love that La Roche- Posay has an acne positivity day! Realizing that struggles can go beyond just the skin with acne.
Acne can have a negative effect on a person’s mental health, and that tends to get overlooked too often! It is time to recognize the mental impact that acne can have and remind ourselves that our feelings are valid! Also La Roche-Posay wants us to remember that our acne experience is not always linear.
It’s in constant flux, and sometimes we even move backwards. Healthy skin mental well being are not immediate. Live in the moment of your acne journey, and know that there may be highs lows and that is okay.
Acne doesn’t define me. It should NOT define you either! Especially when you can use amazing products like these to help you along your journey and with your progress. Acne is normal. Perfect skin is a consistent battle for me.
Y’all know skincare is a daily passion for me! I spend so much time working on the perfect routine for me to have a healthy skin barrier! So I am very glad I have added these AMAZING products to my routine.

For starters, I am a skin care addict. I also love pricey makeup but skin care always trumps my makeup purchases. If your skincare isn’t up to par, neither is your makeup in my opinion. I literally have a bathroom shelf, bathroom tub, shower and caddy, a bathroom cabinet and a closet packed with skin care.
I know, we only have one face but through trial and error I have come across a regimen that has kept my face glowing and clear at 49. And also I can’t resist trying out new products that have the skin care ingredients I know that my skin craves.
With that being said, there are VERY, VERY few empties laying around and with this product there have been four empties, and I’m waiting on my fifth tube to be shipped while squeezing out the very last remnants in the old one! This moisturizer quite plainly, just does what it’s supposed to.
I have oily, mature skin (with few wrinkles. ) Thank God for genetics and a great skin care regimen and this moisturizer is my last step before sunscreen. It has niacinamide and peptides and has never one time, ever broke me out.
I know what not to use to keep my skin clear and this is one of my top five products. No frills, just a honestly great moisturizer that doesn’t leave your face greasy or feeling heavy with product and sinks in beautifully without any product build up.
This will always, always be a repurchase for me! Thanks La Roche Posay!.
First impression when unboxing: The box and bottle are the same as the traditional packaging, simple, effective, pleasing to the eye. I opened the flip cap and took a whiff, there’s a light scent that reminds me of tanning lotion/sunscreen (kind of like that cooking bacon-esque scent).
I read other reviews saying that a little goes a long way so I squeezed out a pea sized amount. The formula is super light, and is a water gel consistency (which made me nervous for the mattifying factor).
I started with the back of my hand to see a comparison. A little definitely went a long way, and traveled up my entire forearm. I compared my hands and the hand with the product was significantly less shiny, and all of the cracks (it’s cold and dry where I am at the moment) were blurred.
I tried it on my face and it definitely mattified my oily areas, but I wasn’t sure how hydrated I was. This can be a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It wasn’t greasy and didn’t leave behind a film, but at the touch it felt like I didn’t have anything on and felt like I needed to reapply.
When I did reapply though, it felt like I overused product so it definitely achieved its claim to fame. It’s not my holy grail but I’ll definitely use the whole tube especially since it didn’t break out my sensitive/acne prone skin.
Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion has an ultra-lightweight, unique formula that moisturizes throughout the night and helps restore the protective skin barrier with three essential ceramides.
Your skin needs moisture around the clock, but it may need other things too like soothing. With a night cream containing niacinamide, which can help calm the skin while you sleep, plus hyaluronic acid and ceramides, you can help your skin hold on to moisture and restore the skin’s barrier all while you sleep.
Created with dermatologists, CeraVe PM facial moisturizer features three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide in an oil-free, non-comedogenic formula that can hydrate and calm the skin while helping to restore the skins natural barrier.
Suitable for normal to oily skin. Facial moisturizers are great for providing your skin with hydration. All CeraVe face cream and face lotion products are formulated with ceramides to help restore the skin’s barrier, which helps your skin to retain moisture and keep irritants out.
I love CeraVe pm! A product has to be absolutely fantastic for me to give it five stars and I heard about this when I looked up what products would be great to use a Trenton knowing and I can’t believe I did try CeraVe products much earlier…I’m actually really mad at myself for spending Ridiculous amounts of money for nothing when this brand is literally created with dermatologists and it has so many fantastic ingredients that are SO good for your skin! So this cream is extremely moisturizing but it is light and buttery like a creamy serum.
I absolutely love it. It’s also great for daytime. I have no dryness whatsoever using this with tretinoin. Once a week I use the moisturizing cream for a deep treatment on my face. it’s very inexpensive so it’s worth trying.
Keep in mind my skin is acne prone and very reactive! And I have absolutely no issues.
Smooth results with a satisfying sting! 🥵🥶🥴 I have used this product for 2 months now can honestly rejoice in the fact that I have seen a game changing shift with my facial hygiene 🥰. I combo this product with the Azure Skincare Anti-aging Collagen Vitamin E Serum 😇👌.
I regularly shave about 1-2 times a week to actively allow my skin to absorb all of this goodness. On average any product on a fresh shave will give you a stinging yet cooling sensation. If you don’t think so, you’re a superhuman I would love to meet you 😬👀💙😂.
Though I feel the pain lessen as it dries, I fully wake up feeling more powerful than ever🦸🠽. My facial lines have become less prominent the overall texture of my face has softened like a freshly roasted smore.
I highly recommend giving this PM moisturizer a few minutes of your time for about 2-3 weeks for results ğŸ™. 🔥Spice it up by applying this lash serum before snoozin’ ğŸ‘.
I’ve had acne to varying degrees of severity for maybe ten years and this is my go-to. The texture is light, almost gel-like, and very hydrating. The fact that it’s unscented is huge for my sensitive skin, and I love that it contains niacinamide, which has been essential in fading my (old) acne scars! I will say that I’ve gotten lazy and started using it morning AND night recently (the AM moisturizer has a weird crumbly texture and whitecast that makes me not super excited to use it), and I’ve been breaking out in big, painful, itchy, scarring clusters.
I’m taking a break from this moisturizer (as well as my paula’s choice salicylic acid cleanser) to let my skin heal, because I think using niacinamide twice a day might be contributing to my breakout.
TLDR; this is my holy grail moisturizer but beginning to use it twice a day is probably what’s giving me painful breakouts.

I was a little Leary at first because the “active ” ingredients in the cartridges- (with the exception of the blue one which contains AHA’s) like taurine and whey protein , are not the normal ingredients you see to combat different skin issues.
But alas I tried all of them except the red. And I was sure I would like the blue one best because again – only known active ingredient. but I actually love this one and have bought it multiple times.
This one makes my skin appear bouncy and fresh. I’m months away from 40 so that’s a pretty big deal. Anyways – I’ve read comments like “oh no they don’t mix together!!” – of course not!!! Lol- are you in cable of taking your finger and swirling them together if it’s so upsetting?? I’m pretty sure it’s still just as effective and according to my dermatologist- this is one of the best moisturizers you can use – I’m just saying.
I have dried skin and have been using First Aid, which works very well but seem pricey. So I thought I tried Clinique, which is more expensive but if it can last me 100 of hydration then it still OK.
unfortunately it couldn’t even hydrated my face for a few hours. My face would get itchy and red when the hydration is gone, which was what happen a few hours after using Clinique product. I have to put other hydration product a few hours after I use this product so my face can get enough hydrate.
If you want good hydration product, use First Aid, which last me at least 12 hours. They smell nice and works long hours. DON’T bother. Clinique is a waste of money. I also bought the yellow one what is advertised to hydrate for 24 hours and it doesn’t work.
I really like this hydrating jelly! It has a texture that I’ve never seen in any other moisturizing products – it’s lighter than most lotions, and it feels very refreshing on the skin! Since I have drier skin, I need heavier moisturizers during the winter/at night.
However, this is a great moisturizer for me to use during the summer, since it’s so lightweight and cool. I also use this after post-workout showers, since I moisturizer twice a day (with the Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Lotion+ in the morning and the Moisture Surge Overnight Mask at night), so to prevent over-moisturizing, I use this after showers to hydrate my skin after showers (since hot showers can actually be drying to your skin), but it doesn’t hydrate your skin too much (since you aren’t supposed to moisturize too much!).
I have found that sometimes this can leave a sticky, tacky feeling on the skin after applying, but it quickly fades away. If you find that feeling unpleasant, then I would definitely recommend using a jade roller to help the product absorb into your skin faster! That’s what I do with a lot of products that work well for me but don’t absorb quickly/are initially super sticky.
This is also a really good deal! For $29. 50, you can get 4. 2oz, which is a lot – my little 1. 7oz bottle has lasted me over a month (and I use it every day!). In conclusion, I would recommend this product to people that are looking for a lightweight daytime moisturizer or summer moisturizer, or people with oilier skin that can’t use heavier moisturizers (like Clinique’s Moisture Surge).

I’ve struggled with acne my entire life. I’ve always avoided moisturizers for fear of breakouts. But now as I’m getting older, I realize I need a moisturizer because its dry and looking very dull. This is THE ONLY moisturizer THAT WORKS!!! And I’ve tried so many specials, expensive brands out there.
I don’t breakout. It’s lightweight and feels amazing! There’s no scent and it’s not heavy or oily. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Please don’t discontinue this product!!! I’ve had trouble finding it lately.
This is an amazing moisturizer for combination skin and acne-prone skin! The texture was really nice and felt great on the skin; it’s light but moisturizing and doesn’t weigh the skin down (you’ll forget you were wearing it!) My bottle has lasted quite a while which goes to say that a little goes a long way with this product! I will say because it doesn’t have the thickest coverage, I’m not sure how this would fare with people with drier skin types, so I only used this at night before bed during the winter.
Overall, it was a great purchase, and I’d buy it again.

I switched to this moisturizer after I could no longer purchase Pep-start Hydroblur Moisturizer (which I always found very gentle on my skin). I used this for a few days without, I thought, ill effect and then started to notice my skin turn red and become incredibly itchy.
I’ve had a similar reaction to other moisturizers by other companies, though I’ve never been able to ascertain the specific ingredient that causes the problem. (I have noticed that it often occurs with anti-aging formulas.
) At any rate, the moisturizer is silky and absorbs well. I would love it if my skin could tolerate it. I was a little surprised to find a Clinique product I cannot use, but I do caution others that it can cause an allergic reaction.
I’m not sure what I’ll switch to, but hopefully, there will be another Clinique product I can use.
I did not expect much! I was pleasantly surprised to see results after just 2 weeks. The texture is very nice and non greasy feeling. This really does attack multiple issues. In a couple of weeks- brightness, even tone, smaller pores, reduction in lines with an overall look of vibrancy.
Apply after moisturizer and enjoy. it contains salicylic acid which is great!!! This combats inflammation, unclogs pores and helps clear away dead skin. I saw someone say “I don’t want salicylic acid in my serum” it’s important to understand how important this ingredient is and that it is not just for acne solutions at all.
Salicylic comes from the white willow bark in nature but can now be made in the lab. Aspirin was originally from the white willow bark, therefore it’s a wonder ingredient less aggravating than other acids 4 face.
Think about it, aspirin is anti inflammatory and salicylic literally unglues gunk on the surface of skin and in the pores while calm redness. Anyway, this is packed with great ingredients and wears well under makeup.
My skin is finicky so I had to cut back to once per day application as it’s amazing ingredients caused a bit of irritation but it did clear up my skin and refine it. it Does add a touch of moisture too.
Impressed that it cleared my face lit it up. I cleanse, exfoliate with Tatcha enzyme rice and then their Essence, then Clinique moisture surge super concentrate gel, smart repair night moisturizer as needed and then the Smart Serum.
It’s one of the best out there that is a full on multiplayer for yor skin! Warning: resist over application. Less is more and a 1oz will last longer than a month especially if just using on face. Bottom line- it is packed with great stuff 4 skin.
🖤 @Clinique was my gateway brand into skincare, and overall it’s a great brand. It has some amazing products, but does get overlooked. It wasn’t until I started watching YouTube videos, that I found a whole world out there.
But, I still have quite a few Holy Grail products that I still rotate in my routine. ⭐️ The Clinique Custom Repair Serum has a very thick consistency, and could also be a moisturizer. I do notice my skin feels more hydrated, plump, and smooth.
🤍The serum has helped with my dark spots and redness. I notice this on my fine lines on my forehead. This luxurious serum is said to visibly improve the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
🏆It’s a great pick-me-up due to sleepless nights, a crazy job, and two screaming toddlers. 💥I usually plaster this on my face in the dead of winter when my skin feels dry and dehydrated. It does have an impressive list of beneficial ingredients such as Grapefruit, Mulberry, Barley, Cucumber, Algae, Plankton, Grape, St.
Paul’s Wort, Wheat, Glycerin, Rice, Whey, Sunflower, Soybean, and Squalane. ✔️ Although it is thicker than all other serums I have tried, it does glide on the skin with ease, and absorbs quickly. 💎The product has lasted me longer than I expected it too.
⚜️This could be considered more than enough hydration for individuals with oily skin. Although I do enjoy this product, the serum was on the more expensive side. 🌀 #skincare.
Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Double-Correction Daily Care, ultra-light and easily absorbed without an oily finish, corrects imperfections such as bubbles, black spots, and spots. Its effectiveness against imperfections controls sebum production by reducing pore size, but always maintains hydration for 24 hours.
Indicated for the daily care of oily skin with acne and sensitive tendency. It has an anti-pollution action. The skin is purified, regenerated and hydrated. Hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and dermatologically tested.
Probiotics reduce inflammation of the skin caused by acne, psoriasis and atopy. Salicylic Acid promotes the elimination of dead cells and the renewal of the epidermis (keratolytic action). Hyaluronic Acid is used as a moisturizer to increase the water content of the superficial layers of the epidermis, helping to bring volume and density to the skin.
Directions clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day
This is the second product I’ve tried from Vichy through the Stellar Product Testing Panel (the first was a facial sunscreen), and I’m again pleasantly surprised at how great their skincare line is. To set the scene: I’m in my mid 30’s, with combination skin, large pores and blackheads, and I live in Arizona.
That’s an important detail, because I have a very small amount of time during the year to enjoy products as they are meant to be used, before things start melting off of my face without my control. I’ve been using this moisturizer about 5 times a week for the last couple of weeks, and have alternated between using it as part of my bedtime regiment and using as a replacement for my primer before I put makeup on.
I was pleasantly surprised that the moisturizer does not immediately make my face super greasy. The consistency of it is almost a mix between a lotion and a serum – and you don’t need a lot at all. one pump will do ya.
That’s a great thing, because the size of this bottle is really decent (also love that it’s a glass bottle with a solid pump – packaging is excellent). With every day use, it would last well into 8 or 9 months.
I have not used it twice in one day, mostly because I know my skin would start to build up a little more. I’m hoping that once daily use will be enough for my skin to get used to it and not over produce oils.
I have noticed a little bit more clarity in my skin without makeup on, and I trust that it’s helping with acne. However it is not a miracle product by showing significant results in just a couple of weeks.
I am also using this product during the wintertime, when I need moisturizer the most; I will likely stop using it when the weather starts warming up again. Overall, great smell, great packaging, great size, great consistency, great feel on the skin.
Can’t give it 5 stars unless it’s an irrefutable must-have in my medicine cabinet, and I just haven’t used it that long to determine if it’s making the cut yet!.
I had been looking for a good moisturizer for oily skin that I could put on and not realize it’s there. Every other “light weight” moisturizer felt good when I first put it on and then an hour or so later, my face felt like an oil slick covered with velvet.
But this moisturizer is nothing like that! A little goes a long way, it absorbs instantly and is incredibly light weight. This moisturizer does not feel greasy at all and I actually forget I put it on.
I can already see improvements from the moisturizer which was a nice surprise. I only use it every other day so far and at this point, I don’t see the need to apply it every single day. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone with true oily skin that wants a lightweight moisturizer.
Formulated without oil, the First Aid Beauty Oil-Control Moisturizer is ideal for skin types prone to clogged pores and shine. Locking in essential moisture without causing excess build-ups, the moisturiser leaves skin soft and sumptuously hydrated, banishing dryness.
Blended with Hyaluronic Acid, the cream uses the humectant to help prevent water loss and improve the appearance of fine lines for a smoother, clearer look. Oil-absorbing microspheres aid in creating a matte finish that looks and feels completely natural throughout the day while Oil-Control Technology, made up of active ingredients and Niacinamide, works to regulate sebum.
Pores will have a minimised look for a more airbrushed effect across your face. Finished off with Oat Extract, the moisturiser soothes and calms any irritation for a comfortable feel. Dermatologically tested, non-comedogenic.
Suitable for sensitive, normal, combination and oily skin types. Free from gluten, nuts and oil. Suitable for vegans.
I’ve been using this for going on 3 months and have had the clearest skin I’ve had in 20 years (I’m 33). I used to frequently get minor breakouts (usually having a deep pimple or two at all times, often on my cheeks) and I struggled with an oily t-zone (my make up was always sliding off of my nose especially) BUT after one change in my routine (this lotion vs.
the FAB intense repair lotion) and I’m to the point where I am feeling comfortable not wearing make up though I still do most days and it stays put now! Such a relief My pimples are at bay and my skin tone is so much more even since switching moisturizers (I scar easily and pimple spots have had a tendency to just last forever on my face, but not so much anymore).
My routine is very simple: I wash with the FAB cleanser every night, followed by using Neutrogena non alcohol toner, give it a few minutes and use the Ordinary’s niacinamide, and 10-15 minutes later I used this oil-control moisturizer.
Every other morning in the shower I use Accure’s facial brightening scrub; on mornings I don’t use that I just wash with water & wash cloth. In the mornings I again use Neutrogena toner, niacinamide, and the oil control moisturizer, and I have no problems putting make up on after 10 minutes.
I used to use a million more Ordinary products and Tula vitamin C serum – which I liked but I’m finding I don’t *need* at all and I want to save that money. I stopped using all the other serums at the same time I bought this.
So I took out a bunch of products, added this, and it’s helped me out. Def recommend. Literally been telling all of my friends.
I haven’t reviewed anything on here yet, but this product really seems worth a review. I have an annoying combination skin that both gets dry/flaky AND oily/shiny. This moisturizers works like a charm, giving my skin hydration and controlling shine on my nose.
I have no idea how they formulate this product to achieve this monumental task, but they somehow managed to do it. I used to be able to only control the shine on my nose by putting on powder, but with this moisturizer, I don’t even need to put on any powder, and my nose still does not get excessively shiny.
I highly recommend this for anyone who is struggling with shiny skin due to oil. Also, I noticed that, in the winter, when the air is particularly dry, this moisturizer doesn’t give quite enough moisture, so now I complement it with the FAB Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration at night.
That gives my skin the extra moisture at night, and then I use this product in the morning. Together, they give my skin enough hydration in the winter while still controlling the shine. I know I sound like some sort of paid spokesperson, but this is just me being excited about a line of products that actually works for my skin.
I’m a licensed esthetician so I am very particular about my skin care!! This moisturizer is great in my opinion and is well suited for my very oily, acne prone skin. I can actually see a huge difference in the shine/oil production throughout the day! My skin feels and look less oily even when I get home at night.
I will say that you should use a hyaluronic serum with this to lock in more moisture. My only critique is that it’s not quite moisturizing enough. But again, that depends on your skin type and the season.
For the winter I will pair it with hyaluronic and using a generous amount helps too!! You can also use a thicker more hydrating moisturizer at night time if you need it and just use this in the AM. that’s what I’ve been doing and i love it.
In the summer time I’m sure it will be perfect for when my skin is even MORE sweaty and shiny. Overall great product. I even bought one for my dad for christmas because he has oily skin like mine.
Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser-Daily face wash for normal to oily skin. This foaming cleanser gently removes face and eye makeup, dirt, and impurities. Its formula removes excess oil while maintaining skin’s natural protective barrier and pH.
Leaves skin feeling clean and fresh. Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer UV-Discover prebiotic skin care. Daily, oil free facial moisturizer to help restore healthy looking skin and protect against damaging UV rays.
I’m not particularly wowed by this product, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I do think this moisturizer lives up to its claims – matte finish, good for oily/combo skin types. My skin used to run on the oily side until I really got into skincare.
Now my skin is more normal, though still acne prone. I’ve been using this moisturizer daily, AM PM. it does the job, but I don’t mind a more hydrated look, hell, even feeling more hydrated would be nice too – something I’m not really getting with this moisturizer.
If you like a more matte moisturizer, then this one is for you. Texture reminds me of a gel-cream, so not the sticky jelly texture like some gel moisturizers. The design of the cap also isnt the best.
one of the two attachments broke after only 2 uses. they’re too wide set apart from each other compared to other squeeze tubes that I use. Many of my products already contain the same actives – ceramides, niacinamide, etc.
That, plus not being super impressed by the hydration, I would pass on this product.

Key Ingredients: – Japanese Wild Rose supports natural circulation, balances skin, and improves the look of pores – Japanese Leopard Lily helps to reduce oil production, calm problem skin, and supports natural turnover of the skin – Hadasei-3™ consists of Tatcha’s Proprietary Complex of Rice, Algae, Green Tea helps restore a healthy looking radiance – Saccharomyces Rice Ferment Filtrate helps to condition the skin while providing significant antioxidant, brightening and visual repairing effects – Glycerin and restores the skin by drawing and locking in moisture The texture is a velvety water gel cream that turns into a water consistency when you spread onto skin.
It absorbs nicely into skin and doenst leave being a greasy feeling or stickiness behind. It gives you a dewy glow and makes your skin appear more plump. While this would be a great day cream, especially in the summer months, it’s just not moisturizing enough for me at night or the colder months.
As for cons, while low on the ingredient list, it does contain fragrance and alcohol which might not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. I didn’t see any reduced appearance of pores in one jar and some sample packets.
I would recommend this to those with oily or combination skin. PROS: – Oil Free – Doesn’t irritate my skin – Doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy/sticky – Lightweight and Absorbs well – Gives you a dewy finish – Hydrates well during the day CONS: – Contains Fragrance and Alcohol – Not moisturizing enough for me – Did not see any minimization in pores.
Almost the perfect product! The texture is unusual and unique, it feels just like a regular cream but then transforms into a watery gel as you apply it. very clever I admit! And no tackiness or sticky after-feel either, it sinks in almost immediately and feels mega hydrating as though your skins’ thirst is being quenched (I felt the same thing with Clinique’s DDMG).
The hydrating effect lasts too and was just right for my skin, not too light and not too heavy, a very rare thing for me to come across! Totally adore the jar and gold spatula, ingredients are great too.
well almost. It’s those dreaded silicones that just have to be added in and ruin a great thing. And not just one type but multiple variations of them. Ended up with clogged pores on my nose and a breakout on my chin (always the first place I show signs of a reaction).
Hoping against hope that Tatcha will one day buck the ever-increasing silicone trend and produce a version of The Water Cream that’s silicone-free. As I simply loved everything about this product otherwise, I’d be the first in line to purchase it! ~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~ (My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora) 1.

To start it off, I don’t have a terrible acne problem, but I have a terrible problem with picking at my face and making it worse. I found out about tatcha through an ipsy bag but somehow forgot about it after.
I’ve been using PanOxyl for my acne recently and it’s been working, but I started to think about my skin and the nourishment it needs. I know aging is normal but I’m about to be 27 and time feels like it’s going by way to fast.
I still feel young and I want to try to still look young to be honest. So I recently saw an ad on Instagram for Tatcha. I decided to buy the limited addition water cream and the mini rice polish for oily skin.
Although pricy, when I received the packaging and letters, I was in awe with how Tatcha is supporting the futures of young girls/women with purchases. For someone who thinks about the world and the impact of everything, who can’t complain about that? So I know you can’t make pores disappear, I will say that using these products for a minute now made my pores appear a lot smaller and unclogged?.
I’m amazed. Literally. After this I’m sure to use Tatcha in my longterm skin routine. THE ONLY THING I AM UPSET ABOUT — Is that I didn’t take before and after pictures to show how serious I am about it.
I’ve been trying out random skin products for the longest but I think tatcha is here to stay in my permanent routine. Ps to the wonderful Tatcha team, I know yall are trying to promote recycling with the prodcuts and I appreciate that.
but for people who bought full size products for awhile and don’t have much recycling options in the area, could we request future product in a biodegradable/small bag to just put back into our full size product containers? I mostly ask this because I bought the Limited addition water cream and I love the packaging of it and would absolutely hate to get rid of it once the product in it runs out.
Sorry for my long opinion. It’s the honest opinion of mine and I love it. Thank yall.

I’ve been using the Water Cream for years. I loved the lightweight formula. I applied it twice daily after washing my face. It easily glided onto my skin when I applied it and absorbed into my quickly making it a mess free application.
My face felt hydrated and smooth afterwards without feeling weighed down with product. However, when I most recently re-purchased the Water Cream I immediately noticed that the consistently was different.
The cream was no longer lightweight. It felt heavier and almost had a whipped texture to it. I really had to rub the product to work it into my skin, but eventually it felt like the smooth product so was used to so I chalked it up to me overthinking it.
However, within a few hours my face felt itchy and when I was able to look in a mirror I saw tiny bumps all over my face. I immediately washed my face off and used a different moisturizer to try to soothe my face.
I’m aware that people’s skin changes over time and need to adjust their skincare regimen over time. But because the cream felt so drastically different I looked into it and Tatcha has confirmed that they “had some very minor ingredient changes to the ingredient list to make it comply with international regulations.
” I am so disappointed that they changed the formula without putting anything in their product description or on their packaging in a way that i found noticeable. I won’t be using this product again.
Got this for christmas, so i’ve been using this for half a year now. There’s still a good amount left that will last me til the end of this year, or even the beginning of next year! Anyways, it is very hydrating on my oily/ combo skin without clogging/ greasing it.
Makes my skin very soft, dewy without irritation! I think it’s the perfect cream for someone with oily combo skin, especially during summer! In the winter, i like to use this on my T-zone, and the dewy cream on my cheeks during winter for extra hydration and dewinesss! On days where I want a break from harsher skincare and just want a simple, coming routine, I always pair this with a hyarulomic acid and it does WONDERS for my skin! I wake up with my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.
Now, the consistency is very light and easily spreadable, unlike some very thick creams. The best way I can describe it is like a very light cream that is not too light to the point where you have to apply a huge amount, I only need a time pea size for my whole face! The packaging is extremely pretty with a scoop to keep the product itself clean.

I am 54 years old and this has been a nice lotion to use on my face. I loved it even more when Clinique created the ID line to enhance the Dramatically different line. The moisturizing lotion is very hydrating but as I’ve gotten older and started developing some lines and wrinkles, it really doesn’t do much to firm the skin, but it does hydrate nicely.
I have tried Clinique’s serums and wrinkle correcting creams, but they are so harsh and strong on my face, so when they came out with the ID line for lines and wrinkles I was very happy to try it and pleasantly surprised how wonderful it worked.
It did not irritate my skin and I could visibly see a very noticeable reduction in the lines and wrinkles on my face. It was a total game changer and I just loved it! It gently firmed my skin without irritating it and I was absolutely devastated when I went to replenish my Dramatically Different lotion and ID product for lines and wrinkles, only to find out that the ID line has been discontinued!! So far two things that I love from Clinique that are gentle but truly work, have been discontinued just in the last few months.
Clinique also discontinued the Smart Night Custom Repair Cream which was very gentle on my skin. What are you doing Clinique? Why are you discontinuing products that actually work??? Please bring back the ID line for lines and wrinkles.
It is such a wonderful product that is gentle and works. Not everybody can use your new recently launched Smart Clinical line. I have used Clinique for over 25 years and I have always been happy to try your new products, but this new Smart line in the purple containers are way to harsh.
I am so disappointed that you discontinued the ID line for lines and wrinkles. Please consider bringing it back again.
I’ve been using this moisturizer for the past 30 years. I consider it more along the lines of a slightly richer “emulsion”, for those of you who are familiar with Japanese/Korean beauty routines. What is standout about this moisturizer is it’s absorption.
It doesn’t sit on top of your skin. I have dry, combination skin and I put it on after softener. It really does keep your skin moisturized and it’s very lightweight. You don’t need much and it’s fragrance free, and hypoallergenic-as I have sensitive skin and can react very badly to fragrance.
You need to let it set in and absorb for a couple of minutes, but afterwards it’s easy to apply sunscreen. I find many sunscreens drying to I always play this before. Also, it’s the perfect way to protect your skin when you’re training your face to accept retinol.
You moisturize with this then out the retinol afterwards and it really helps to help with redness and flaking while still getting the benefits of your retinoid. It’s also amazing for thinning out your foundation and getting it to absorb into your skin to look more like a no make-up make-up look.
I don’t find foundations moisturizing even when they say they are, and mixing it with the Clinique helps with that plus it gives you a very natural application. If you have a face powder and need a quick foundation, mixing this moisturizer with a bit of powder gives you a really nice moisturizing sheer cover.
It’s an amazing makeup remover, I’ve used it to take off my eye makeup when I’ve run out of remover, and I like it because it leaves the skin moist. So, I can’t say enough good things. It has stood the test of time for me and I use different and heavier moisturizers and creams but I always use this as an emulsion in my routine.
Years ago, when ever I went on a plane I always treated myself to the Clinique Moisturiser and loved it. So when QVC launched Clinique I was very excited. People always say how lovely my skin is for a 59 year old, I take the time to look after it with premium skincare and using advice from Alison Young, so to be honest I didn’t expect very much of a change.
I have put all my other skincare away, including my JW neck cream, I have restricted myself to the three step Clinique and my Liz Earle Drops and my Vit C serum and my JW nectar eye cream. I started using the system two days ago, morning and night adding the using drops and serum and eye cream and wow, my skin has improved, my neck is much smoother and when I wake up no lines on my chest.
My face skin hasn’t changed much, but does seem more luminous. So I have just ordered myself another set. This is definitely the skincare range for me. I know that people are saying that the Stage 2 is harsh, but believe me, I have dry, sensitive skin and my skin hasn’t had any reaction to it at all.
What a wonderful, quick and easy skin routine that makes your skin look wonderful. I am absolutely thrilled to have found something that has shocked my skin to another level and will continue to use this wonderful range.
Thank you QVC and Clinique for bringing this to me at an affordable price and on three easy pays to boot, I am one very happy customer.
Lightweight, Oil-Free Night Cream OIL FREE. Night cream with niacinamide. Your skin needs moisture around the clock, but it may need other things toolike soothing. With a night cream containing niacinamide, which can help calm the skin while you sleep, plus hyaluronic acid and ceramides, you can help your skin hold on to moisture and restore the skin’s barrier all while you sleep.
Created with dermatologists, CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizer features three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide in an oil-free, non-comedogenic formula that can hydrate and calm the skin while helping to restore the skins natural barrier.
My skin is combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin. It gets dried out pretty easily by skin treatments but is also affected by heavy moisture. I had an eczema breakout that was all over my face and neck so I was using the Cerave moisturizing cream.
It definitely helped but once my skin started to normalize, it wasn’t clearing up and I figured it was too heavy at that point. I use the resurfacing retinol from Cerave along with a few other products first and this was recommended with it.
I was pretty skeptical because I figured it wouldn’t be enough for my skin, but I was wrong! It’s light and soaks in nicely but my skin is still soft when I wake up. For anyone that has acne-prone skin that is sensitive, you NEED to try this! If you’re still having issues, you might have skin barrier issues like I do.
These Cerave products I mentioned are definitely helping to get my skin back in shape!.
Short: sticky, makes me more oily, burns eyes, may give a break out. Combination skin, oily+normal. Not for me, not gonna buy again. I had a regular version, not a lightweight one. This lotion isn’t absorbing at all.
Skin remains sticky even after several hours. It gives glowing but my skin produces extra oil after applying, so I feel like I’m 15 y. o. with a super oily face. Stickiness everywhere, both on the neck and on the face.
My oily parts will go with more oil so I will be like a walking oily projector. This lotion burns my eyes, so, it can not be used on eyelids and above. It also gives me visible breakout, but on the oiliest part only – on my forehead.
In the photo, my face is 2. 5 hours after applying this lotion. Yes, I have partially oily skin, but not in THAT amount. I wanted to love this CeraVe PM product as I love their cleanser, but bruh.
Dermalogica Active Moist is a lightweight, oil-free lotion for daily moisture protection to actively combat surface dehydration. This sheer, easy-to-apply formula contains Silk Amino Acids and a unique combination of plant extracts to help smooth and improve the skin’s texture.
Natural botanical astringents of Lemon, Watercress, Burdock help to refine the skin. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.
I was drawn to ‘Active Moist’ due to its many fantastic plant-derived ingredients. My first attempt at applying it was on a morning. Bad idea! I found it did not sink into my skin at all and just sat there, making any sunblock applied over it an impossible task, let alone makeup.
I found this unusual as the product is supposed to be oil-free. Thinking I had perhaps applied too much product, I removed it with a makeup wipe and applied even less this time around, but the effect was the same, albeit less pronounced.
The next time I applied it was on an evening, at the end of my cleansing routine. This for me was more ideal as I had no other products to apply over this and could let it sink in (or so I thought) overnight.
Unfortunately it didn’t really sink in. What I liked about Active Moist the most, apart from ingredients, was the fact that it did not cause any adverse reactions – breakout, itchiness etc. It hydrated fairly well too, but I feel a lot more could be done to improve the formulation so that it doesn’t sit on the skin and absorbs more easily.

I’ve been waiting to review this product because I just wasn’t sure about it. If I could, I’d give it 3. 5 stars. Let me start by saying I have very problematic skin. My skin is super dry and easily irritated.
A lot of moisturizers exacerbate my skin problems. I chose this because I thought the oil free formula might give my skin the breathing room it needs. Unfortunately, the product is refreshing but not at all moisturising.
If my skin is dry and I apply it, my skin still looks dry and flaky a few minutes after application. It is necessary to use another moisturizer. Luckily, the dramatically different moisturising lotion came in a grab bag I purchased at the same time and I loved it.
Ended up buying a large bottles as I was burning through the 50 ml. I use a hyaluronic acid serum under my moisturizer in the evenings, and the hydrating jelly feels a lot like that product. Indeed, hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients.
If you think of this product as a serum, then its good bang for your buck. Or, if you have oily skin, this could definitely be a good product for you. I’ve also tried applying it in the morning under my tinted moisturizer which works okay.
However, the jelly does leave behind a slightly sticky residue that is more noticeable when other products are added on top. Giving it time to absorb before applying make up or another moisturizer helps.
I made an account just to review this product LOL. So I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and have been loving it! At first, I was combining it with a moisturizer right after and it made my eyes burn (products don’t get in, just fumes and/or scents).
I got rid of the moisturizer and boom, burning all gone. However, although I love the product, the “hydration” isn’t very strong. But for me, I only need some hydration after a cleanse. The rest of the hydration, I leave it up to my body.
TLDR: Long story short, it’s perfect for some and those who combine it with a light moisturizer. But on its own, not super strong. But I find it perfect as I have a more naturalistic approach to skin care.

I should start by saying that it has taken years for me to find products that work for my highly reactive skin. My aesthetician introduced me to Image products and over the years through trial and error with her I have experienced much better skin.
I am at a crossroads though because I am not pleased at all with the packaging. I have had issues with the packaging on the Vital C hydrating oil, the Ageless Hyaluronic Acid, and the ACE Serum. Finally you have updated the Vital C hydrating oil packaging, why can’t ACE and the Ageless Hyaluronic have new packaging? Currently of the products I am using, the ACE and the Ageless Hyaluronic acid have the worst packaging.
The rubberish (not sure if it is rubber or not) glass dropper system is awful for these and I have had droppers break in the process of screwing the dropper lid back on and have had glass shards in my product pretty much rendering it useless…I have also had glass droppers break where the pieces were larger and did not fall into the container.
In order to access the product, I have had to attempt to pour it out which is a mess and wasteful or to use a dropper from another product which contaminates the product. The rubberish seal on the inside of the lid/dropper mechanism does not close all of the way so I have had these bottles leak when stored or traveling and it also allows air inside to contaminate the product.
Eventually the rubberish seal/dropper fails by tearing and the bottle contents are wasted due to air exposure and leaking. I have reached out to Image about this with photos and they are not concerned at all.
The first time this happened a few years ago, I messaged for awhile with an Image rep and finally told me to return them to my aesthetician and she can refund or replace on her dime. I didn’t think that was right.
Finally they offered her a refund for providing me with a replacement product. I provided the defective product packaging and hoped things would get better. This time after repeated attempts to get to anyone who cared, they said they never hear this type of complaint and they offered me 10% off my next purchase but I have to call in to do so, not order from my aesthetician.
I really wanted to love this item, especially for the price. The cream was SO expensive and made ZERO difference. Not even a little. I have puffy bags under my eyes and dark circles. No difference in firmer skin, dark circles or puffiness as advertised in the description.
I chatted with an employee from Image and she said this is the product for me. Unfortunately, Image also does not take returns, which to me, doesnt say much about their belief in their products. I was going to order on Amazon but was afraid of a counterfeit product.
Now I wish I did, because at least Id get my money back. Ive had better results with some eye creams that Ive gotten at Whole Foods for puffiness and dark circles – and they were 1/3 the price if not less.
The product feels really nice on my skin, is not greasy and smells good in a natural way. I think it would help with dry skin under the eyes, which is not my concern. Ive used it for a week now, twice a day.
The smell of this is so strong it makes me sick. I was loving this company because I thought they had non toxic ingredients in their products, but I was wrong. They use things like Pegs, Peg 8, etc… in their products which is highly toxic.
I had opened this eye cream a few months after buying it because I was finishing another one. After being stunned by the strong smell and ingredients I asked if I could return it on the live chat. They said no because it’s been too long since my purchase and that they’d see what else they could do, but I was never contacted.
Poor customer service. I’m moving on to a different non toxic brand. Do your research on ingredients before buying their products!.
Hydrates skin and helps keep skin shine-free for 24 hours Quickly absorbs into skin with an instant cooling effect Visibly minimizes pores over time For oily skin to normal skin. Suitable for men’s skin.
Non-comedogenic, allergy-tested Made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
When I found this gel cream a couple years ago, I knew I found a jewel. It was perfect – the packaging, the product, the oil-free hydration results, the consistency. It was an absolute & immediate life saver from all the greasy moisturizers I had used in the past that made my face look wet, but still left my skin dry and dehydrated.
This gel cream was the missing piece that I needed to truly elevate my skin & care routine. I have a few unopened jars left in my stash from my previous re-up. But I loved this product so much, I decided to purchase a few more to add to the bunch.
As soon as I opened the box, I knew something was wrong. Problem 1 — the jar was different. They changed from the cool blue, transparent glassy looking jar to this basic blue container that looks just like the packaging of some other drugstore products I won’t mention.
Problem 2 — I popped the seal on the jar, and was immediately met with a fragrance. I don’t even know if I can label it a fragrance because it smells sort of chemical-ly. A faint smell, but a smell nonetheless.
One of the best things about the old version of the product was that it was fragrance/odor less which was super helpful for my sensitive skin. Problem 3 — They’ve changed the ingredients! I dabbed a bit on my face and hand.
The viscosity is obviously different with the change. The previous product was light, but still managed to have a little thickness/weight to it that felt very cooling and super hydrating while also protective in terms of coverage once applied.
The prior consistency matched the “gel cream” label. Now, this just feels super thin. They should call it “watery gel”. Doesn’t feel like I’ve applied anything at all, but it somehow simultaneously drying.
When making product purchases online, I will often compare the ingredient list on a bottle I have at home to the one on site because I’ve been through this enough times to know these brands lack integrity and transparency standards particularly when they’re trying to make cuts on quality to save a buck.
They’re never transparent about that. And would you know it. Kiehl’s is no exception. The only reason I placed this order a few days ago was because the ingredient lists at home and on site read the same.
Now that I have the updated product in hand, I can see their website is inaccurate. They’ve added a “new” sticker on their product landing page next to the product image. but they’re STILL showing the old ingredient list on site as of 4//7/21.
You mean to tell me someone had enough time to add the “new” sticker but couldn’t update the ingredient lists as well? These brands are so shady. Maybe someone will see this review and actually update it.
Who knows. At this point, I’m not sure what the $32 product price tag covers, because it surely isn’t for packaging, oil free hydration, consistency or even transparency. This should be obvious, but this product is going back.
I’ll take my time finding a replacement while I use up my stash (luckily a little goes a long way). This is a warning, STAY AWAY from this product. Lastly, it’s important, but probably not surprising to note, I submitted this review to the Kiehl’s website twice for posting and it was rejected because it didn’t meet their “website guidelines”.
Take from that what you will. Shoutout to Google for allowing me to share my honest experience.
I really really like this facial cream! I honestly thought it wasn’t gonna be worth much mainly because my spoiled self looks at packaging before I buy or get a product and this was pretty plain. I know better then to judge a book by it’s cover but still I look for fun packaging and pretty stuff! This product may have been plain on the outside or not my typical facial cream packaging but not does it work and make your face feel amazing! I opened it and the container reminded me almost of a chest rub I’ve used for years when sick.
Once I got that out of my head I realized this stuff is it’s own little gem. I really love the feel and how it doesn’t leave my face feeling icky or sticky. With this humid heat in MO I am picky picky about what I apply before going outside since I don’t want it too feel heavy or when I’m working outside and sweat it runs into my eyes.
Not a problem for me here. If this makes sense it give a moisturizer feeling yet drys quickly not leaving a product residue. I strongly suggest this product it’s definitely a great find. Doesn’t have a strong scent and layers good under my make up.
The oil free part really made my skin happy! I really like the more gel feel vs a white cream as well cleanse easy. A little goes a long way!!.
As someone with extremely oily skin, I always have to debate about whether or not to moisturize. I know the importance of moisturizing but it’s so frustrating applying moisturizer and looking greasy within 30 minutes.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream honestly surprised me because it works very well with my skin. The consistency is very smooth and lightweight. After I applied it to my skin, it dried down to a matte finish which I LOVE.
This is the only moisturizer that actually held up throughout the day, I was noticeably less oily than I normally am. The product came at a great time because my skin had some dry patches from a new face wash and this definitely revived my skin.
While I could rave about this even longer, I do want to note a flaw. As someone else has mentioned, the 1. 7oz size is SMALL. For $32, you’re definitely going to through this quick. I love the formula but I don’t know if I’d want to go and have to repurchase it multiple times.
With that said, a little goes a long way so I’m hoping to get as much use out of it as I can. Overall, I really enjoy this moisturizer and if you’re someone who has been looking for something that won’t make you greasy, I recommend trying this out!.
It is an oil-free mattifying moisturizer that neutralizes the production of oil at its source, reduces sebum flow and the appearance of pore size. This product also provides micro-exfoliation to help visibly tighten enlarged pores while refining skin texture.
This moisturizer works well as a base for makeup. It is ideal for oily skin and is suitable for sensitive skin.
hey everyone ! so I personally have extremely oily skin and I’ve been really searching for a cleanser and moisturizer that helps me and I fr have gone through so many brands but I recently bought this moisturizer and paired it with the cleanser meant for oily skin and let me tell you , it works but too well.
I’ve never had dry skin in my life but after using this moisturizer, my skin is like the Sahara desert. It burned for a few minutes after putting it on then left my skin so dry that it felt like I was wearing a clay mask.
It works ! I didn’t have any problems with an oily face after but it had my skin so dry, it was so uncomfortable. I’ve been using it for almost a week and each time , it burns and leaves my face extremely dry so I usually add Vaseline after to help but I think I’m good off this product now.
I started using this product like 2 months ago, and it is a serious game changer. I was using the Effaclar line already, the face wash, the duo spot treatment, and sometimes the toner which dried my face out.
I would always try lotions and it would break me out even more. Then I started using this treatment. I went from having like 4 new breakouts a day down to one or none. It’s also nice because it doesn’t give you that greasy film afterwards.
I usually don’t write reviews ever, but this is one product that I would suggest to ANYONE. It helps break outs, it helps moisturize your skin, especially if you have combination skin like I do. And it leaves you feeling refreshed in the morning.
I have been feeling so much more confident in my skin and I love it. And because it’s not greasy, I can finally put lotion on in the morning. Every other lotion would make me look like I was greasy or like I was sweating, but this one absorbs right in and skin looks amazing.
The only issue I have with it, is the fact that it’s so small. It runs out really quick, and I usually hate having to spend money, but for this it’s so worth it for me.
This face moisturizer is great! It doesn’t leave oily residue. I apply it in the morning after my sunscreen and at night after my serum treatment. It leaves a thin layer that serves as a non comedogenic primer and it has the very nice smell as all other La Roche products.
If you’re worried about it being too little for such an expensive price, your really only need two drops of the moisturizer to cover the entire face, which is also true for most La Roche products, so they last a long time.
The only thing I have against this product is that it says it’s mattifying but it leaves no matte color.
Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturiser (59ml) is a simple, lightweight moisture lotion, ideal for combination, oily and sensitive skin types. Non-comedogenic, this moisturiser has a light, fragrance free formula that’s ideal for oily and problem skin and non irritating too.
Quickly absorbed it also makes a great base for makeup.
I bought this to have a smaller sized everyday moisturiser yet there are so many flaws with this cream. Firstly, it smells and looks exactly like sorbolene cream. It reminds me of playing with my grandmas skin creams in the 90’s, the smell, the texture.
Secondly, I exfoliate, cleanse, tone then moisturise. This doesn’t at all soak into my skin and when rubbed in it turns white and basically stays like that, then dries and leaves a sticky feeling. Overall this for my skin isn’t a good cream by any standards, and it’s very very small for just under $30.
I’m very pleased with this moisturizer; it’s lightweight and has absolutely no smell. It’s more of a gel consistency than your average cream/lotion/moisturizer. I am still trying to get my ratio correct, I notice if I start at my cheeks and move inward, I am have the least amount of oils after a few hours- but if I start at the nose or forehead and work outwards, I tend to have a more oily T-zone (I also wear glasses 24.
7)- But even still, I’m VERY pleased with the results; the oil I DO get isn’t near the amount i would normally, so this is an improvement! I don’t feel gross at all, which is wonderful.
I love this moisturiser and I buy it again every time I run out of it. It leaves my skin feeling really moisturised without feeling oily, and goes really well under makeup. My only complaint about it would be that the bottle design is a bit annoying sometimes.
The end of the nozzle becomes blocked occasionally with dried moisturiser and then when I squeeze it out, the dry bit dislodges and I get a massive amount of moisturiser squirt out!.
If you have oily skin, finding an affordable moisturizer can be a challenge. There are a lot of moisturizers on the market that are specifically designed for oily skin, but they can be expensive. Fortunately, there are a few affordable options that can help control oil and keep your skin hydrated.
One affordable option is Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer. This moisturizer is designed for all skin types, including oily skin. It contains SPF 15 to protect your skin from the sun, and it is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores.
Another affordable option is La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat Moisturizer. This moisturizer is specifically designed for oily and blemish-prone skin. It contains sebum-absorbing micro-particles to help control oil, and it also has a mattifying effect to help keep your skin looking matte and shine-free.
