Klar ist es auch nicht für “Feuchtigkeit” gedacht aber beim Frühstück fallen halt nicht nur Krümmelchen, sondern auch mal die Marmelade auf den Fussboden oder ein bisschen Tee wird verkleckert.
Ich rede hier wirklich von Tropfen nicht von ganze Teetassen. Ferner sind die Tücher nicht zum auswaschen geeignet. Klar hat man beim Kauf das schon gewusst aber jetzt bei der Nutzung wird einem erst klar wie viel Müll und Folgekosten dies verursachen kann, wenn man das Gerät wirklich regelmäßig und über mehrere Jahre nutzt.
Aufgrund dieser individuellen und persönlichen Erfahrung muss ich in meiner Bewertung Punkt abziehen. Wer damit Klar kommt und auch den Boden immer Staubtrocken hat, der hat hier sicherlich ein Produkt für sich gefunden.

Sie haften sehr gut am Virobi, nehmen Staub, Fussel und Haare perfekt auf und verteilen diese vor allem nicht wieder, sie bleiben einfach toll haften.
Nur größere Teile wie Steinchen schaffen sie nicht, aber das erwarte ich auch nicht. Ich liebe den Einsatz im Bad, weil da von mir immer die meisten Haare fliegen, einfach 10 Minuten flitzen lassen und alles ist wieder sauber.
Allerdings muss der Boden trocken sein, auf Nässe bleibt der Virobi hängen.

I currently use two of them now for my two bikes, and one of those locks I’ve owned for over 15 years. Yes, sometimes I have to spend an extra ten seconds jiggling the tumblers with the key (not the “five minutes” another reviewer exaggerated), but it still always opens.
But one accessory that is an absolute must with these disc locks is the curly bright orange cord. It acts as an added visual deterrent to thieves, but is also critical as a visual reminder to the bike’s owner that there is a disc lock attached.
Years ago, before these cords were on the market, I damaged the brakes of two bikes when I took off not remembering I had the disc lock on.

It’s very inconvenient especially when you’re bending over and it’s either hot or raining. I was concerned a few times while traveling that I might not get the lock open. I would have returned it but I’ve been too lazy to ship it back.

Two design elements mean that this bracket is not suitable for carrying heavy locks: Firstly, the way that the bracket holds the lock away from the frame means that there’s a significant distance between the mount point and the lock’s centre of gravity.
This magnifies the moment of force exerted on the mount point when the bike goes over bumpy terrain. (moment = force x distance) Secondly, the strap and rubber shim used to mount the bracket on the frame are not capable of maintaining a strong enough grip on the frame.
What this means is that if you use a heavy lock, the bracket shakes and rattles, and will *always* work loose and start swinging around and need to be disassembled and re-mounted. I used this bracket with a Kryptonite New York Lock for years.
Again and again I tightened it as tight as I dared to without crushing the frame, and it ended up slipping loose every time. This problem is well known. Why Kryptonite – a company known for great locks – would damage its reputation by selling such a poor quality bracket I cannot understand.
(Although some people have success with this bracket, I suspect they’re not using a heavier locks such as the New York Lock. ) I now use the Kryptonite Transit H-Bar Carrier instead (see below), which is much more reliable because the lock’s centre of gravity is very close to the mount point.

TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI bought this to replace an older bracket that had stopped working because a tiny spring had rusted to dust over 5 years of service. This new bracket has done away with the spring so should not suffer the same fate.
Installation is really easy though I don’t like the bit of strap that’s left sticking out. I know the instructions say to cut it short and re-seal the end but I might want to move the bracket to a different part of the bike or a different bike all together so I have taped the loose end to the bike for now.
This new bracket also has a different way of attaching the lock and provides 2 mounting adaptors, one is too small (12mm) for my shackle and the other is too big (16mm) so I have shimmed the shackle so the large adaptor fits.
Once in place the bracket holds the lock very snug, I have no concerns about the lock moving or becoming un-attached while cycling. If it lasts as long as the last bracket then I consider it to be a bargain.

It is kludgy, cheap, and the plastic clamp screw is already showing signs of wear after 3 attempts to get it mounted to a good place on the bike.
Which brings me to the biggest issue. There is no place to put it on my Surly LHT where the mount and lock don’t interfere with something, like access to the water bottles, or causing the brake cable to drag against it, as it runs along the top tube.
Even when I tried turned the lock perpendicular to the top tube, it rubbed on my legs while pedaling. This is a good lock, hamstrung with a very poorly designed mounting bracket. Avoid it, if you can.

Next ride out it jumped off the clip on a nothing bump and fell on the highway and is now history not great value for money.
3 stars as the front light now makes a great bbq light – these do not work for a bike as the clips don’t hold to stress.
