I finally picked this up on sale after wanting one for a long time. So many great reviews and a long reputation of making amazing products. The quality is great! The adjustable stand works really well.
But unfortunately after a couple weeks of usage it now sits in a desk drawer because it’s just too frustrating for me to use it due to a flaw in the design. Being a right-handed artist who uses the Apple Pencil for illustrations and note-taking, I find it very difficult to place the pencil back in the side slot with the tip facing up.
The natural motion for me to place the pencil on the magnet has always been to place it with the tip downward (or to the right if I’m using it in landscape. This case forces it to be placed upward (or to the left), so every time I’m quickly wanting to transition to place or take the pencil, it’s the “wrong” way to me.
This is a major design flaw as it’s a completely unnatural motion when going back and forth with the pencil. I don’t understand the design decision to mold the pencil holder to fit only one direction.
It shouldn’t be molded to any direction at all, in my opinion. I tried very hard to get used to the ‘flip’ of the pencil, but I keep fumbling it or dropping it when I have to transition – and this is incredibly frustrating for me.
This turned out to be a make or break decision on what seems to be a great case for my iPad. But I have no desire to use it anymore as it won’t allow me to use the pencil the way I need to. I rated this 3 stars because of its outstanding quality and versatility.
But it’s unusable for me. I’m frustrated by the design choice with the side pencil slot and the fact that I can’t place/grab it in a natural motion. Using an old $12 case I bought on Amazon instead. Not as great but at least I don’t have the pencil issue.
The best iPad Air 10. 9 (5th Gen) case I have found!! ZUGU has unbelievably matched and exceeded my expectations (my first ZUGU iPad protection case purchase). I had other cases in the past that were heavy or on the cheap side and I always felt disappointed with those cases (even though they had great and numerous reviews on: Amazon, Target, and Best Buy).
I wished for a better case but could never find one, and was essentially just having the attitude of, “this is good as it gets”. I was also struggling to find a case that protected and charged my Apple Pencil in a optimal, most efficient way.
ZUGU impressed me with all features of their product: the quality, low profile, light weight, camera protection, multiple viewing adjustment levels, soft cover protection, etc. I also appreciated and liked the charging and holding space for the Apple Pencil which was another feature I struggled to find with a top quality iPad Air case.
The cost was spot on for the quality and functionality and yes, I would purchase multiple times over and recommend for friends and family!!! I can have it on my lap, table, in my work bag, etc. and have yet to find any issues with the case.
My eight year old son and husband even like it as well! I could see a gift in their near future!😉. The color choices were spot on and makes me want to have multiple cases just change up the color for variety – that’s how much I truly am enjoying this iPad Air case! You’re making the right choice with ZUGU, don’t hesitate.
The Zugu case for my iPad Air Gen 5 is equally as good as the one I had for my original, old iPad Pro 10. 5”. That old case is still working and looks just fine, but the old iPad battery died. That said, I am certain that this new Zugu case, which looks even more refined and just as durable, will also last as long.
I do like the Apple Pencil charging slot at the top and the sleeve on the back to hold the pencil when charging is not needed. My only issue was a Zugu website glitch on the initial day of ordering the new case that substituted a black model for the slate color I had indicated on my order form.
This required me to return the black (one free of charge) and get a refund, and then reorder the slate colored one. It took a bit of convincing on my part to have Zugu understand that it was not me that ordered the wrong color, but was their website glitch which they finally recognized as true and apologized to me for the inconvenience.
The website issue was then corrected. So a bit of initial unnecessary hassle, but all is well now. The case fits great, looks good and is highly functional. I still believe the Zugu iPad case is the most durable, protective and well designed case that you can buy and is worth the money spent.

Overall the quality of this case is good and the colour vibrant and clear. The case’s hardness is something between 4. 00-4. 5 from 5. Little bit heavy but I guess this is normal for a case that is supposed to protect the ipad and has additional space for other stuff.
The only minus for me was that the additional net pocket does not have a zip locker and the side bands would be better off if designed as firm pockets with some kind of zipper or locker band. For such price a little more detail would make this case perfect.
It is sad that they could not invent a lil bit more energy to make it “a really worth it” item. Otherwise I very much like my purchase.
I was a bit skeptical while purchasing the product from this site as it was never known to me but to my surprise the product was genuine and cheaper than amazon sellers. I was looking for a hardcase for my dell xps 13 laptop and it fits perfectly well!.
Protect your device from the action and accidents that come your way as you work hard and play hard with the legendary protection of Defender Series Screenless Edition for IPads. Designed for real life, Defender Series combines tough layers to guard against the roughest drops, scrapes, bumps, dust and grime.
And, the combo belt-clip holster/kickstand keeps your device ready for action. Built to deliver rugged protection, Defender Series defends your device from daily wear and tear and rugged adventures Features Multi-layer defense solid inner shell and soft outer cover.
Belt-clip holster included that doubles as a kickstand for hands-free media viewing. Port covers keep out dust and debris. Synthetic rubber slipcover. Raised edge for added screen protection.
I certainly feel my iPad Air is securely protected in the Defender Case. The built-in screen protection is an added plus and does not interfere with haptic input. The disassembly of the Defender Case is a little tricky.
I had to contact Customer Service for assistance. They were great! I wish the Case offered incremental angle adjustment for viewing. I would prefer something in between what is offered for high and low viewing settings.
The charging port is difficult to access with the very springy rubber port cover. I find it somewhat difficult to plug in and unplug the charging cable. Lastly, the volume controls require a firm press to activate with the Case on.
I honestly considered returning the Case but the positives outweigh the negatives. I’m hoping the rubber becomes more pliable once the case ‘breaks in’. That should resolve a couple of my concerns. Bottom line: Solid protection, a little hefty, but probably offers the best protection available.
I think it would be a five star Case with a couple slight modifications.
I have had a defender series case on almost all of my iPads and have loved it up to this point. The iPad Air 4 has an almost fatal flaw where the Apple Pencil connects. This case leaves this area almost completely exposed.
The flimsy door over this area has come off twice now and the main frame of the case/rubber bumper provides little or no protection/stability. My other issue is I use my iPad to watch movies. I do very little work on it and do not own an Apple Pencil.
Having this door does nothing for me but create an area where my case dose not protect my iPad. I really wish there has been two versions of this case. One with the door and one without. Extremely disappointed in this case.
I have the original iPad and the first iPad Air that are equipped with the defender cases. From day one they’ve been in the cases and recently I took them out and as expected, not a scratch, dint or crack on either one.
I purchased a new iPad Air GEN4 and of course, time to equip it with a defender case so I ordered one. I should have looked closer and realized they have designed the case differently so it is in part my fault, but the case is not like the old ones.
The new case has a compartment for the Apple pen. Good concept, but it’s a cheap thin plastic door on the side that will not last. With the door removed almost the entire side of the iPad is exposed.
Just opening it, it fell off and I had to snap it back on. Both of my old iPads have lasted through two kids and the new iPad was intended to be for my youngest child. I do not have confidence in the new defender case to hold up and protect the iPad the way previous models have.
Otter box needs to do away with the cheap plastic door that pops off and my child will loose or come out with another completely sealed case like previous models.
Carry your iPad with confidence knowing it’s secure and protected in the custom-molded tray with reinforced corners. The secure magnetic closure keeps it tightly under wraps. And, like other Targus cases, it offers military grade protection for drops up to 4 feet.
Virtually any positioning option and easy rotation let you quickly customize your view. A simple flip transforms your case into a sturdy stand for comfortable typing. Flip again for easy viewing, with smooth rotation from portrait-to-landscape positioning.
Deep grooves anchor the edge to ensure stability at any angle. Enjoy added efficiency with an integrated loop for your Apple Pencil, an elastic hand strap, and the ability to magnetically pair and charge your Apple Pencil.
Precision cutouts offer easy access to your controls, ports, and camera. Even your audio gets a boost with the sound-enhancing design.
I’ve had the case for around four weeks. It adds thickness and weight to the sleek iPad design but I’m willing to accept that as the case is neat, secures the iPad very well and is high quality so it still looks nice and stores easily.
The main thing that I wanted from the case was the rotating design that allows the screen to be in portrait position (which I prefer) or landscape. This function is quick, smooth and easy and the choice of the positions to stand the screen in (velvety grooves) is adequate.
The case doesn’t slip from the grooves, it feels steady and secure when using on knee or table top. The price is competitive and overall I’d say it’s very good value for money. I have had Targus cases previously and they lasted around two years before becoming scuffed/worn.
This one feels even better quality and the design has improved. I would feel happy to recommend this case.
Is seems a good, robust case but I have reservations. I’m not sure that closing it causes the screen to go into sleep mode. With my previous IPad, still in use, the screen becomes dormant when the case – a much cheaper one- is closed & awakens on reopening.
I thought this might be because the new one has no magnetic closure, but depends on an elastic band to hold it closed. My other one snaps shut, which I imagine connects the case electronically to the iPad, signalling it to go to sleep.
No being very technically minded I was unsure if this was correct. But I’ve just read a review by someone who clearly is technically competent & he says much the same thing. It seems to me that an iPad being permanently awake – until it is powered off – is far from ideal, at the very least using power & memory.
Wasn’t sure if I’d end up liking this “folio” style case, but it was the obvious superior quality item among the choices in the store so I took the risk. The magnetic fold back closure flap is nice, though a stronger magnet would have been better.
In the end, I found one significant design shortcoming. When the cover is folded back behind the case and you slip your hand into the elastic hand grip in portrait orientation, the weight of the iPad causes the front part of the case to droop down in relation to the folded back cover behind it like two large, heavy, mis-aligned playing cards.
Very awkward to hold it this way. A magnetic solution either with the fold back closure flap holding the two in alignment, or one between the rear of the case and the cover holding them to each other would have really helped.
Also, the rotation feature is of little value (I don’t use it), and don’t plan on removing the iPad frequently from the case as it isn’t easily done.
Defender Series Pro is the rugged protective iPad Air (4th gen) case that delivers advanced defense for your device. Defender Series Pro integrates a silver-based antimicrobial additive into the case that helps inhibit microbial growth and defends the case exterior against many common bacteria.
* Weaving the additive into the case materials ensures it keeps protecting your case 24/7/365 and outlasts heavy use. The premium rugged design displays clean lines with a comfortable grip. Plus, the raised edge offers added camera and screen defense.
This is a phenomenal case for my latest generation iPad Air with the M1 chip. When you snap the case together it is practically seamless and the TPU rubber layer fits tight and snug. The plastic door for the Apple pencil is something that I do shake my head at but, I guess it is the only solution that OtterBox could come up with.
These guys have been building these cases for a long time now so I do trust their judgment as far as this solution is concerned. The only other alternative was the completely sealed off the Apple pencil connector but then, how would you charge your Apple Pencil with your iPad.
The only drawback is that these days, OtterBox is not incorporating a built-in screen protector anymore. Who knows, that probably had a lot to do with customer feedback as people were not big fans of those built-in plastic screen protectors even though they did provide splash protection.
Also, it could be a money grab because the tempered glass screen protectors for these things can cost as much as the cases themselves. Glass is glass so I did not get the most expensive glass screen protector that you can get for one of these I simply found an insignia from Best Buy on sale.
I would recommend this case to any iPad Air fifth generation owner.
I bought this product a week ago, and initially it was great. But as I used it more and more, I eventually saw a critical problem: the stand. I used the OtterBox Defender for the iPad air 3, and it was brilliant – best case i’ve owned.
I trusted OtterBox to bring a similar design for the iPad air 4, but I was wrong. The case stand sucks. There are two positions, similar to the old design. One high for viewing and one low for drawing, etc.
But this new design for the iPad Air 4 takes both of those to the extreme. The high stand makes it practically vertical, which makes it impossible to view. The low stand is extremely low, practically on the desk, totally horizontal.
Both are impossible to make it a comfortable viewing position. The reason for this is that they (for some reason) shifted the thing that makes it stand forward an inch or so, which makes a massive difference.
They should’ve used the iPad air 3 design. If it isn’t a flaw, don’t try fixing it. OtterBox has disappointed me with this $90 (really expensive!) case, looking forward to buy a new one. Can’t believe this design actually got approved.
It is great in terms of fit and protection, HOWEVER, due to the raised edgys, it is uncomfortable to write with an apple pencil in portrait. Not only that but if you own an apple pencil I would not suggest this case because you can’t charge your apple pencil without having the side flap open or removed.
Also unless you remove said side flap, it is incredibly uncomfortable to try and remove said apple pencil. If you were limited to an otterbox product, I would suggest the symmetry series for note taking/school stuff or anything to do with an apple pencil (buttttttttt its top right corner is known to slip off partially, which happened to me too) and this case if you don’t have an apple pencil or only plan on needing something durable.
(bought symmetry on amazon and this case on bestbuy fyi).
The Smart Folio for iPad Air is constructed from a single piece of polyurethane to protect the front and back of your device. It automatically wakes your iPad when opened and puts it to sleep when closed.
You can easily fold the Smart Folio into different positions to create a stand for reading viewing typing or making FaceTime calls.
Over the years, my wife and I have bought over five iPads. I´ve lost count of how many iPhones my wife has had. We always buy official Apple accessories (cables, chargers, folios etc. ) I mention this upfront so that you understand that what follows comes from a loyal customer and not some Android fanboy just having a whiny rant.
It´s a loyal customer having a whiny rant. I decided to buy my wife a smart folio for her iPad Pro as a birthday present. It was a great disappointment. In fact, I would go so far as to say it doesn´t work.
We have always bought Apple Smart Folios for our iPads. We had tried cheaper third-party products, but I guess you get what you pay for. Though the Apple Smart Folios were far more expensive, there was no doubt that they were extremely well made from quality materials and worked extremely well.
When my wife bought her new iPad Pro, financial constraints obliged her to get a cheap third part cover. For months she was grumbling about how light weight and flimsy it was, how it wasn´t anywhere near as good as the Apple iPad folios, and how she wished she had had the money to afford a proper Apple iPad folio for her new iPad.
I can take a hint. I bought one for her birthday. At first, she was delighted with her present. But within hours she was beginning to complain about the new design. Earlier versions of the Smart Folios wrapped around the edge of the iPad and held it in firmly in place.
The new version only holds the iPad in place magnetically. You can convince yourself that this is sufficiently robust – as many reviews here seem to do – but it really isn´t. It is possible to dislodge the iPad with only moderately vigorous swiping.
If you adjust your position whilst lying recumbent in bed it is very easy to dislodge the iPad from the cover. If you are unlucky, your iPad will tumble with a crash onto the floor leaving you holding the Smart Folio flapping forlornly in the wind.
None of these things ever happened with previous incarnations of the Smart Folio. My wife and I have both had our own iPads since 2011. That´s 20 person years of use without incident. I hope Apple see sense and reconsider this design decision for future iterations of the Smart Folio.
If they are wedded to the magnetic Smart Folios they think they look cool, well they could produce two versions – one magnetic and one wraparound. (They already effectively produce two versions with the cover and the Smart Folio, so I guess one more will make three).
Heck, if cost is an issue, they can charge even more for the wraparound version. I´ll be the first to slap down my hard-earned dosh for a pre-order. But I only want something that works.
I am used to buying iPad covers with a keyboard attached and the image of the thin magnetically held cover seemed both insecure and expensive. However, the availability of a portable keyboard that could be used with various devices, and the inconvenience of heavy keyboard covers led me to give the smart folio a try.
I will never buy another keyboard cover. The Apple cover is expensive. However, it has protected my iPad from falls, briefcase debris, and other mishaps. It also folds into at least two useful positions – and allows the iPad to be charged while being used.
In short, it is simple, light, effective, and elegant. Now to find a Bluetooth keyboard that is the same (smile).
Pros: -I’ve gone through so many generic folio covers, this one is the best for my iPad Pro 11″ -Minimalistic and functionable -Gives bare bones protection without adding weight and bulk Cons: -Gives bare bones protection -the stand to have your iPad set up vertically in landscape fashion is not very sturdy at all -$80? This rubberized cardboard is literally $20 less than an Apple Magic Keyboard! Overall: The ONLY reason I got this cover was because it was for sale for $59.
99 at my local Best Buy. I still see no justification for $80 for a rubberized cardboard cover. This gives you the bare minimum of protection. Since I’m generally very careful with my iPad Pro 11″ anyway, that’s not a big deal.
I’ve used a few 3rd party protection gimmicks and they add some bulk and weight to my iPad Pro. This folio cover does not. Bottom line, if you don’t mind paying Apple premium prices for a bare bones folio cover, by all means, get this.
But if the price is too much and you already dropped $$$$ on your iPad Pro and don’t want to fork out even more, there are $20 alternatives that may feel cheap but at least give you something that provides more protection.
An origami-inspired case providing 360° protection for iPad Air and supporting multiple viewing angles. The microfiber-lined cover with magnetic closure protects the touchscreen and Apple Pencil and also mounts to metal surfaces for hands-free viewing.
Custom cut out to support Apple Pencil charging. Magnetic flap keeps cover closed and secure. Supports both portrait and landscape viewing modes. Microfiber-lined front cover to cushion and protect your touchscreen.
The case is a thin profile no bulk. I would say if you need something thin this is the prefect case. But if you drop your iPad this doesn’t provide any protection at all. I do like the placement of magnetics.
I’m not the ideal customer for this product since I haven’t bought a case for any cell phone or tablet I’ve owned since before 2007, except when it’s been absolutely necessary. But when necessary, like in this case with my iPad Pro that I take around with me in my Jeep for navigation, I remember and chose the Otterbox because it has served me well in the past.
However, since it’s been so long since I bought a good case for any handheld device, I forgot how big they can (and probably need) to be. This case is so large that it makes it impossible to dash-mount my iPad with it on, limiting the usefulness of it to only times when I’m using it outside of an office or my Jeep, which isn’t too often.
It’s still worth keeping it for those times, so basically I carry it with me in my backpack in case I need it. I think it will work well for its purpose, but I’ll probably never know. It gives you decent access to buttons, considering how well it protects your iPad, but the Pencil cover that gives you access to charge your Apple Pencil on your iPad seems like a stupidly designed after-thought.
It honestly severely compromises the structural integrity of that side of the case. I really doubt it would protect your iPad at all if you actually dropped your iPad on that side when the Pencil is not there and only the cover is there.
The cover is very, very difficult to take off, so even if they left the Pencil cover out of the design to improve protection, it would be nearly useless to people who have the Pencil, because you simply don’t want to struggle taking it off every day or two to charge your Pencil.
Taking it off every day would be like wearing galoshes and boots every single day and having to wrestle them off just to rest your feet — not fun. I think given all the shortcomings of this cover as mentioned, they should focus future designs on improving the ease of putting on and taking off the cover.
Maybe use more thick rubberized parts that can be easily removed? The plastic parts are ridiculously hard to figure out how to remove, like some kind of puzzle that I never asked for. The outside rubber cover you put on after putting the plastic case on is much, much easier to remove and put on, once you learn how to do it.
With zero documentation included, I had to look up a YouTube video to learn how to remove this case from my iPad. That should tell you how badly designed this case is. But, I think it will protect my iPad handily.
as long as I don’t drop it exactly on that side where the Pencil goes. With all this being said, I’m sure it will do a better job protecting my iPad than the Apple trackpad/keyboard combo case/cover.
I shattered the screen of a previous iPad by dropping it on its corner with that cover on. However, ironically, I’m sure because of how rarely this case will be useful, I’ll use the Apple cover a lot more often.
I’m not sure what has happened to the Otterbox brand over the last year or so, but to my surprise and unfortunate dismay, I found both of the Defender Series Pro cases for the 2021 iPad Pro models to be extremely subpar.
While the lack of a built-in screen protector in recent years is extremely disappointing (and shortsighted) my complaint is about the actual build quality of these particular cases. I bought (and quickly returned) both cases after trying them on both iPad Pro models – these cases suffer from the same issue.
The issue is that the plastic border of the pencil area that encompasses the bezels on the front facing side of the iPads is so thin that my thumb can actually pull it to the side during normal use. And when it returns to its normal state, it can actually catch on the side of the screen protector! I also own the 2020 iPad Air and this is not an issue – interestingly enough.
I suspect Otterbox has reduced the amount of plastic they use on the top frame of the case as well as the amount of rubber they use for the outer case protection. Both of the 2021 cases seem to have less rubber protection than the 2020 iPad Air case.
I don’t know if this was an intentional move to save money or if Apple provided Otterbox with the wrong specs, but the 2021 cases are less than ideal and the overall rating this case has is deserved – it is not a mistake.
This is genuinely poor quality and I expect better from Otterbox overall. In addition, the packaging for the case is extremely cheap and flimsy – almost like recycled newspaper. They are better off just selling it without the packaging because it does not nothing to instill confidence in overall quality.
In Otterbox’s defense, Apple’s choice to use the side of the iPad for charging the Apple Pencil undoubtedly created some design challenges. I think Otterbox’s decision to use a cheap plastic flap to accommodate Apple pencil use was a poor decision.
The hinges that keep the flap attached to the plastic frame (underneath the rubber when the case is fully assembled) are incredibly cheap and look like they are prone to easy breakage. It introduces a single point of failure in the overall frame design.
I wish Otterbox would have simply made a cutout in the frame to accommodate the pencil and gave users the option of inserting a rubber cover over the pencil portion for added rigidity and protection once the case is fully assembled.
In either event, I am glad to say that I have not given up on Otterbox entirely – I simply may need to give up the idea that they are the best in the business when it comes to case design and protection.
If I can find another company is more focused on case protection that maying cheap bluetooth keyboards, I may give them a chance over the Otterbox brand.
Been using Otterbox for years on pads and phones. Something went south this time. The quality of the material is as always, outstanding. The functionality of the case for the iPad Pro 11 inch is less than thoughtful.
The storage and access to the Apple Pencil (if you use one) is half baked. Don’t plan on traveling with the pencil stored with the pad because it dose not enclose the device. The kickstand is the worst.
You get 30 or 90 degrees when we all want to know why not the 45 degrees we all use. Not to mention it is a completely separate piece and not built in. There for it is almost flat on the table, or tipping over at 90 degrees because the pad does not lock in when using the kickstand in either.
I was using a $30 Turtle Shell that he better functionality. I don’t believe much thought went into the design of this model. Again, good quality material and well protected. The functionality of the case is simply sub-par and is a let-down.
Protect your 10. 9-inch iPad tablet with this SaharaCase Protection Series case. The form-fitting, ergonomic design creates a secure fit for comfortable handling, while the built-in kickstand allows hands-free watching and video chatting.
This SaharaCase Protection Series case is made of TPU and triple-hardened plastic for durability, and the built-in screen protector shields the display against scuffs and shattering. Designed for Apple iPad Air 10.
9′′ (4th Gen 2020) For a precise fit. Ergonomic closed-button design The case secures ports and buttons against dust. Triple-hardened construction Reduces stretching and yellowing. Integrated kickstand Allows you to place your tablet in front of you to comfortably watch videos.
Hand strap Lets you hold your iPad firm by only one hand. Built-in screen protector Protects your tablet’s screen against damage. Pencil holder Provides secure storage for your Apple Pencil.
This case is almost perfect for your iPad Air 4. It’s really easy to put on and take off. It comes in two separate pieces. A harder shell to go around the front part of the iPad. And a rubber edged portion to protect against falls and drops.
Offers solid protection around the case. Like I previously said, it appears to be well built. I occasionally let my 2 year old play on my iPad to draw. I’d feel a lot more comfortable letting him use it with this case on it.
My only two gripes about this protection case is that I cannot use the volume buttons with the case on. I’m not sure if there is a piece missing or this is a design flaw. The way the case is made to hold the Apple Pencil there is a gap where the volume buttons are.
I don’t really use the volume buttons all that much unless I’m playing a game. My second slight issue is the screen protector that comes attached to the case. Because I already use a screen protector on mine it’s kind of redundant to have two.
It also makes it a bit harder to go back to the Home Screen. It’s an easy fix to just remove it, but for the sake of the review I did not. This really does offer great protection for your iPad. I would have no issues carrying my iPad around in this case.
With the exception of the two minor flaws I said earlier this is perfect for my needs.
This SaharaCase Defence case was designed for the Ipad Air 4 and fits perfectly. All ports, volume buttons and the fingerprint port line up perfectly. You should rescan your fingerprint with the case on.
Rubber bumper around the perimeter and thicker bezels provide a no slip grip and will provide drop protection. The screen protector is plastic and will do until I can upgrade to a nicer one. You can use your own screen protector, you do not have to use the one provided.
There is a slot on the backside of the pencil port so you can push the pencil out. I really like the protection this case is providing for such an expensive tablet. A must have!.
MacCase Premium Leather iPad Air 10. 9 4th Gen Folio Case – Vintage / MacCase Premium Leather iPad Air 10. 9 4th Gen Folio Case – Vintage / The ulitmate choice in 2020 iPad Air 4th generation protection features handmade quality, beautiful design, superior functionality.
My iPad Pro case is just as described. The leather is lovely and soft but firm enough to protect it. I love the colour and the idea of use a rubber like substance rather than a hard polymer to hold it in place.
This is what happened to my last leather case. The plastic holder that held it in place and was supposed to protect the corners I got it in broke on one corner so it would slide right out. This will never happen with this case.
This is my 6th MacCase product. As expected the case is well-designed and durable. Instead of the Ipad being held in place in a sleeve, like my earlier cases, the new Ipad Pro is secured with a plastic retainer frame.
It should be durable and probably holds the much thinner Ipad in place. I do miss the small flap on the back cover used to secure the cover so that you can stand the Ipad up for viewing upright on a flat surface.
This is my second MacCase iPad Folio. I had one for my 10. 5″ pro. The quality of the leather and interior cloth, the careful attention to details like stitching alignment are spot on. I also tried the Kavaj London, Toro, and Pad & Quill.
The Kavaj product uses minimalist materials whose edges won’t last the month. The Toro case used good leather but was mounted on a flimsy inner board that bent easily especially at the corner from hell (camera, on/off, and volume).
The Pad & Quill used a very thick leather cover material, was stitched very well, and had No edge protection. The 3M mounting adhesive system simply glued to the back of the bare iPad to the inside of the case.
meaning, no edge protection. And I could never get used to the strap. The MacCase Folio uses the best leather (Vintage) I’ve seen. The padded case is just the right thickness and closes authoritatively onto the surface of the iPad.
A polymer tray is used to hold the iPad in place. The polymer material is strong enough to hold the iPad securely especially in the corners and along the bottom and acts as a rubber bumper of sorts along the short edges and bottom.
The top edge of the iPad is uncovered just enough for the new Pencil and the case flaps help cover the pencil when attached. The Vintage leather is unfinished and Very Soft. It will show scratches and in time natural oils from your hands.
Michael recommends treating it every 6 to 12 months with the same product used to soften baseball gloves and tack.

My previous iPad was an iPad Air 2. I have had it for over 5 years. The case on that iPad is a folio case made by Fintie. It has held up very well for all those years and I really, really liked it. It was time to upgrade my iPad to the iPad Air 5.
Fintie no longer sold the same style case for the iPad Air 5. To my surprise SaharaCase did!! And it had improvements with an added elastic strap and a Apple Pencil holder slot! I bought it and have not been disappointed.
It arrived within a few days and fit my new iPad perfectly. It just like the Fintie case only better. Very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend SaharaCase.
Out of all the cases I could have bought, unfortunately I got this one! It claims to fit my iPad Air 4th generation tablet, but it does not!! I bought this case on sale and I got what I paid for! This case covers all necessary “action” buttons, so I can’t place my finger on the log-in top right button, and the volume and power buttons on the sides of my tablet are covered and inaccessible as well.

Weaving the additive into the case materials ensures it keeps protecting your case 24/7/365 and outlasts heavy use. The premium rugged design displays clean lines with a comfortable grip. Plus, the raised edge offers added camera and screen defense.
I have always had an Otterbox defender case for my iPhone and iPad. Both have been dropped many times and never broken either. I had to purchase a new iPad which was a little bigger so I had to get a new Otterbox.
I don’t like the new style. My old otterbox was very comfortable holding in your hands because it had rounded edges. This new style has square edges and is not very comfortable holding. Keeping because this is the best case out there for an iPad.

Ergonomic closed-button design The case secures buttons against dust. Integrated stylus slot Your Apple Pencil can be carried around with your tablet at all times. Built-in kickstand Enables comfortable hands-free viewing.
While it definitely protects the iPad it’s not ideal. The cover “snaps” off but it’s cumbersome. Also the edges don’t “wrap” around the iPad very evenly making it feel like a design flaw and a bit cheap – which it’s definitely not.
I wanted something that holds the pen, but if you want to put it in “stand” / table top mode then the part that wraps around the pen is in the way. Also the ridges on the cover aloe many viewing angles, but the soft and clean fiber side would be on the table.
Making it dirty and defeating the purpose of keeping your screen clean(ish) Overal. If you want protection it’s fine, but functionality I would look elsewhere. Many cheaper options.
I’ve been using iPad cases since the first ipad came out, and I think I own every iPad model still. So I’ve chanced and swapped protective cases like this one quite often over the years. I know I can spot a good one when I see it.
The case is of great quality, and offers great protection, however, the iPad slides down when placed in upright positions more easily compared with the apple original case. A slight design chance on the inside protective casing from UAG would have solved this issue, but it didn’t happen so I cannot give it a five star review.
The big plus over all other cases is the fact that it keeps the stylus in a well, and it keeps it well protected, that sets this case above others for me.
I bought this case from a retailer with high hopes. These are expensive rugged cases and priced at the top level. A year after I bought it, the rubber and outside totally started coming apart and made a mess wherever I took it.
I contacted UAG and thankfully they agreed to replace it under warranty. It did take a few weeks for delivery because of supply issued I assume but I did receive a new one. I hope this one lasts longer for this price point is should last for years or longer.

I have used one since day 1 and my Ipad still looks like new when it comes off. The corners of the case started to disintegrate due to being dropped a number of times so it was time to replace the cover.
Imagine if the cover wasn’t there. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. A sound investment in protection for a delicate instrument. The matching keyboard that goes with it is very convenient as well and protects the glass surface and makes it one neat package.
I was a little worried that a “cheap” (inexpensive) case would properly protect my ipad and look good. I was used to paying the premium for genuine apple covers. I took a chance on this and I am very pleased! Fits like a glove, looks good and will protect my ipad mini4 well.
This is a genuine Apple silicone case in the lovely colour of Stone which pairs really well with different coloured Smart Covers. I have it paired with the Pink Sand Smart Cover and they work really well together.
The feel of the case in the hand is really nice and provides good grip for when youre reading or browsing the web.

Wewnątrz materiał, dotykający ekranu, miękki i przyjemny.

I purchased this cover on 29th April 2021, not 3 weeks later the iPad I have had for 3 years had a severely cracked screen. I had placed it on the counter and the ‘grip’ failed as the IPad slid forward and off the edge of the counter onto the floor facedown.
Staples took the cover back and gave me a full refund when they saw the extensive damage. Cost to purchase this cover was $51. 95CAN. Cost to repair the cracked screen $300. 00CAN. Save your money and do not buy this substandard cover.
My 6th Gen. iPad was pristine when I placed it in this. If I could give zero I would.
Bought for my husband. He had one before that lasted quite a few years. We needed to find a new cover for his iPad 1st generation but the ones we could find were so cheap. Then I decided to look up Solo (which was the cover that we were replacing that he loved).
To my surprise they were still selling the Vector Slim Case. Although the price is a little higher than what I could find for other covers, I knew that the quality of the item was worth it. We received the item and it is identical to the item we were replacing so my husband is very satisfied.
I bought an iPad Air 2 and went looking for a new case. I am a quadriplegic with limited use of my shoulders, arms and hands. My hands have very little grip strength, so I have a specific criteria when looking at cases for my Apple products.
I looked at Best Buy, Target and Walmart with no luck. Online searches are not helpful because I need to hold the case. After Sunday coffee in a little shopping mall, I went to Staples to search. I found the Solo Vector Slim Case and it was perfect.
The texture of the outside case is rubberized and very easy for me to hold. The magnetic closure is ideal. The inside cover has a rubber mesh that holds the iPad up at various angles. The rubber mesh is also perfect for me when I fold the cover back and rest the case on my leg.
My iPad will not slide off my leg. Unfortunately, Staples didn’t have the case size I needed so I ordered directly from the Solo website. Shipping was fast my case arrived a day earlier than expected.
The Vector is Perfect for me and my iPad Air 2, it has all the features I want in an iPad case. The Vector is priced competitively with cases of this type. Plus, when I find a product that works for me like the Vector.
I’m willing to pay a little more for the product. This type of case is ideal for quads who have limited grip strength. I will share my new iPad and Vector case with my Wheels Connect friends at our next get together.
The durable Battersea case for iPad can take on almost anything. It’s drop resistant up to 8ft thanks to D3O protection. It also features an infinity angle stand, a built-in screen protector and is compatible with Apple keyboards.
There’s also a neck strap and removable handle to suit your business needs. Anti-bacterial protection on the screen protector keeps your device hygienic, and with its sleek black finish, the Battersea looks great too.
While recently purchasing a new iPad, I selected this case for the sturdiness and professional look. It gets a lot of use and is working out very well for me. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because the clear outer cover collects so many fingerprints.
This case is nice in that it covers the whole iPad and I don’t have to worry as much about kids dropping it and damaging. But it’s hard to turn it off. And it’s really not that great to use for touch features.
Sometimes you have to hit the buttons a few times to registers the touch.
Nice case with a screen protector. The case also has a stand option to view shows. We use the tablet for a back Credit card terminal and the stand works awesome. It runs the whole length of the tablet not just a 2 inch kick out.

The Asus Bluetooth adapter worked beautifully. It allowed my laptop to produce a full range of sound that I never imagined could come from my laptop. It did this without the use of any cables from a laptop that is not Bluetooth capable.
Now I can enjoy the deep, full, rich sounds from my speaker very conveniently, no cables. It allows me to enjoy the use of Bluetooth technology without the need to purchase a new laptop. It’s a win, win situation.
Excellent quality and feel. It has magnetic edges to ensure proper closure and landscape standing. The feel is soft to the touch but you can feel the sturdiness within it. The top finger scanner for the iPad Air is easy to use once it’s set up.
The protection is very good as it has plastic like corners for accidental drops. It shipped directly from the manufacturer in a timely manner. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone.
Love this case! Sturdy and protects the iPad really well. The magnet keeping the iPad in place is very strong and is as strong now as when I bought it a year ago. Really like the different positions you can put the back supports in.
Very well designed, very affordable product. I’ll buy another one when I need one!.
