The BUG-A-SALT 3. 0 is specifically tailored to the needs of the more serious fly hunter. The Delta Wading Jacket is our most versatile waterfowl jacket. The reinforced GORE-TEX Pro Fabric is more breathable, durable, and quicker drying, while the streamlined pocket layout helps you keep it together in the field.
Reinforced Forearms Reinforced forearms resist the gauntlet of abrasion. Pit Zips Allow you to dump heat while on the move. Functional hood The 3-way adjustable hood stays in place without hindering your peripheral vision, and a standing collar zips up to seal out drafts.
GORE Pro Shell 100% waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Pro Shell fabric with complete concealment is the lightest and most durable and versatile waterfowl hunting jacket on the market. Water-Sealing Cuffs Velcro gasket cuffs seal out water and precipitation.
Lay-Flat Front Shell Pockets The bellowed pockets close with quiet magnetic snaps, easily accommodate a box of shot shells, and lay flat when empty. Magnetic Tuck-Away Call Pockets Our call keeper system keeps duck and goose calls close at hand or quietly out of the way when not in use.
The uninsulated Delta Wading Jacket is an excellent basic piece. From its sturdy fabric and construction to the smart pocket design, underarm vents with zippers, and ample collar and hood to its packability, water tight cuffs, and cinch-able hem.
It delivers on all its promises and is becoming the go-to jacket amongst all my hunting friends. We hunt waterfowl and pheasant in Southeast Montana (near Fort Smith). Weather can vary widely. For upland hunting, most folks wear some wool underlayers (e.
g. , Smartwool Intraknit 200 and a Smartwool 250 1/4 zip) and a thin softshell jacket (e. g. , the Orvis Pro Softshell Upland jacket). When the weather turns bad, we simply slip this shell over the top and can withstand heavy rain, wind, and brush.
For waterfowl, we simply add another underlayer such as a microfill jacket (e. g. , Orvis Pro Insulated Hoodie) or a down layer (e. g. , Patagonia down sweater). This shell is very sturdy and well designed.
Fit: I am 6’1″, 195 lbs and wear a large. This accommodates all the layering mentioned above.
Solid outer shell for all seasons. Bought to go over my duck oven or other thinner layers. Pit zips, magnetized front pockets (magnets even hold them in an open position), great velcro wrist cuffs, upper hand pockets, it’s got it all.
I’m 5’7 180lbs and I use a medium. I can layer a baselayer, fleece midlayer, and a gradient hoody or duck oven under this thing. Jacket is definitely cut shorter so don’t expect it to cover all the way down to your butt.
This best selling boot is crafted specifically for sport and recreational fisherman. Anglers are athletes and they need proper footwear to help them perform at their best. This lightweight silhouette has the same XTRATUF non-marking, slip resistant Chevron outsole as our iconic Legacy Boot, worn by commercial fishermen in Alaska.
The slip-on-and-go convenience can be worn on or off the boat offering 100% Waterproof protection. The interior boasts a highly durable XPRESSCOOL fabric that allows the foot to breath for long days on the water.
I bought these a year ago — they get daily use cycling, walking and park puddle dipping during the rainy season in Vancouver. Entering my second fall/winter/spring (ie. the Vancouver rainy season. ) now and they are holding up great.
No leakage whatsoever. Upper and sole intact. Small amount of wear inside through one layer of lining at the heel (I have bony/protuberant heels). They are so comfortable and for me, fit true to size.
I’ve seen various comments about sizing — because of the style, they are not firmly fitted around the ankle, which I actually like-easy to slip on and off and really comfortable. The fit around the actual foot is snug enough to walk easily for me.
Everyone’s feet are different so best to try them on! As a daily commuter cyclist who works in different places, I used to hate either carrying around a second pair of shoes, or having damp feet all day.
I wore through blundstones and shoe covers. But these boots are the answer! Caveat: if you wear them around inside they are fairly warm and your feet may sweat. I wear a thin sock which is a happy balance for indoor/outdoor temps.
They are the most comfortable rain boots I purchased. I currently own some muck boots (that I still like in the snow or mud but they are way more bulky), owned some hunter boots and other cheaper ankle rain boots and they did not compare to the Xtratuf rain boots.
I bought these last spring and I am so happy with them. The size 6 fit perfectly! I typically wear size 6 or 6. 5. The boots aren’t too narrow or too loose. For the price, comfort and versatility this item gets two thumbs up! On the plus side they are lightweight, easy to put on and off to go in the garden, and they are great for any fishing trip (white/neutral sole).
Small downsides; not made to go on a big walk/hiking adventure, they are flat, and don’t have grip. The Xtratuf sticker on the front peeled off after a week of use, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the boot, so I don’t care.
If you choose the black color it may get hot in the sun (in summer) and rain boots aren’t breathable so you can expect sweaty feet in that case. Still one of my best purchase!.
The boots themselves are perfect. Great boots for any wet or sloppy environment, comfortable for a lot of walking, while still being “cute”. I’m a true size 8. 5. For these I had to size down to an 8, whereas the tall legacy boots I size up to 9.
My only caution is shipping. They advertise shipping from the warehouse in 1-3 business days and I received a shipping confirmation email on day 2, but the boots were not actually received by the shipping company until day 10, which feels like false advertising.
Not the end of the world if you’re not on any specific timeline. Customer service was less than helpful. They were defensive, rude (interrupting/talking over me), and unconcerned about helping to find a resolution.
Fantastic boots, just leave plenty of time when ordering, and don’t need customer service for anything.
This isn’t your grandfather’s sweat pant. A durable high gauge knit face fabric protects the Berber high loft fleece backer to provide unparalleled warmth. Articulated patterning and a gusseted crotch prevent bunching, while tapered legs cut bulk to fit comfortably under waders.
I bought these as an upgrade from my UA wader pants. These pants are extremely comfortable and very warm. The stirrup feature is very convenient and makes putting on waders or bibs an ease with out bunching up under your calf.
If you’re driving to your blind these are the bees knees. If you have to walk a couple hundred yards and setup your own decoys in average weather you’re going to sweat pretty bad. What I did find is that after a few hours these pants dried(from perspiration) and kept me warm for the remainder of the day.
In hindsight I’d probably layer with Sitka early season base layer instead of the “heavyweight” layer. I can also see getting dual usage out of these pants for wearing under my fishing waders from The remainder of January to March For steelhead and walleye.
SHOOT-N-C 50 target pack comes with a variety of sizes of targets and corner posters for easy repair these targets are great for long range rifle shooting 200 yd and beyond. The greater surface area makes them the ideal choice for use with muzzleloaders, shotgun slugs and to show shotgun patterning.
Mix and match to create your own target configuration.
Updated with a larger body and more correct landing position, this field-proven winner also eliminates tough thumbscrews with time-saving, hassle-free magnetically connected wings. Super-realistic design with trademark Mojo spinning-wing action that’s proven to bring in birds.
Runs for up to 16 hours on four AA batteries (not included). Includes steel support pole. Per each.
Decoy is decent construction. The included extra battery holder is nice to have. Wings are a plasticized cardboard like construction and would appear to need extra care when packing in a back pack or the like.
There is some motor noise and vibration. Thinking of taping around pole sections to reduce noise and vibration. Has turned a few birds that would otherwise have flown by. Everybody seems to have one now, so may become more of a deterent than an advantage at some point.
The MST Waterfowl Fleece-Lined Full Zip 2. 0 provides a trim, yet fully functional, alternative to a heavy outer coat. The anorak-style design reduces bulk for a comfortable fit that can be worn either inside or outside waders, but is ideal for wearing with pants or bibs.
Drake’s innovative Instinctive Features ensure comfort and organization derived from years of waterfowl hunting. This second-generation model is reinforced in high-wear areas like pocket openings, under the arms, the waist, and the lower back for added durability.
Appreciate the quality that Drake builds in to the youth apparel. Nothing sets the stage for a lifetime of passion for the outdoors like being physically comfortable. Looking forward to seeing the excitement on my grandson’s face as he shares the blind with his Dad and family this season! Thanks to all the folks who work at Drake for helping to make the precious time spent together a little more enjoyable! From our family to yours have a great season!!.
I’ve been happy with everything Drake I own and now I bought my son some good gear so he can come out more later into the season. Unfortunately The hoods on these jackets are terribly undersized. Both a youth size 8 and size 10 jacket have a hood that are more appropriately sized for a toddler jacket not a youth size.
It fits my 15m old son better than it fits my 6y old son.
This jacket is great. It breathes great but still keeps you very warm. As always I’m impressed with drakes quality but this one seems overly well engineered. Feels great under bibs. Also as a light winter jacket.
New Dakota Decoy X-treme Lesser Canadas include 3 new carvings and are constructed with a new MEVA blend plastic, making them virtually indestructible. These new soft plastic decoys have the best paint retention available to give you years of trouble-free use.
The decoys are a one-piece decoy, so there are no heads to mess with, making them super easy to transport and set up. They also come standard with Dakota Wind Walker Motion bases. Run these alone in the field or mix them with the Signature Series Honkers to add that extra realism to your spread.
Dakota Decoys are made for the most hardcore of watefowlers. These decoys can take a beating, plain and simple. When people make the statement “these are the most durable decoys on the market” the context must be considered.
My oldest DD goose decoys are 5+ years old and they still look new. These decoys have seen it all. I have used them in rain and snow, they have been covered in mud, tossed in and out of truck beds and trailers and are stored in a pile every off season.
These truly are decoys that will be around for generations to come.
The EVA plastic in these decoys is everything it is talked up to be. Most of my decoys have been caught in the crossfire when the geese are shot almost landing and you can not even tell. Since the base plastic is a natural goose belly color, a few scratches on the paint (going to happen if you are consistently tossing them in a trailer) does not compromise the look or effectiveness of these decoys.
Lots of feeders are always nice to have in the spread. Great product.
If you’ve always had a soft spot in your heart for redheads, you’ll want these Avian-X Top Flight Redhead Duck Decoys drawing them in on the water. This floating duck decoy set includes 6 ducks, 3 redhead drakes and 3 hens in swimming and sleeping positions.
Each bird’s highly detailed features and feathers create a natural appearance, while their weight-forward swim keel give them lifelike movement. These duck decoys feature tough, molded rubber on the exterior with no-flake paint for years of long use on the open water.
Designed by world champion decoy carver Rick Johannsen, there’s no decoy more realistic than these open water redheads.
I just purchased 2 dozen of these decoys additional to the mallard, pintail, black duck and blue bill from avian. And those are 5 stars wish I could say the same for the canvasbacks. Not sure what is happening with the canvasbacks in particular at the factory but paint chipped mostly on the heads of the drakes prior to opening the box is a little ridiculous.
I mean it’s not a huge deal in terms of the effectiveness with the ducks themselves. But for me paying $ for something I expect them to look mint out of the box like the other species. I have another 6 pack on order I’ll be exchanging for the bluebills.
Other than that a really nice large realistic and light weight decoy I don’t doubt they’ll work great even still.
So i had purchased these decoys a while back, a little over a season ago. I’ve not had them in any sort of protective bags and they have been showing minimal amount of wear. The only thing i can complain about is the bills on any Avian X decoys.
No matter if its my Avian x mallards, teal, pintails, widgeon or red heads they all tend to show a small amount of wear in the bills. But lets be honest, the ducks won’t have a chance to see that when you’re getting them to decoy with these decoys.
So far I’ve been pleased with Avians line of deeks but these are nothing like the photos. The photos look ultra realistic with great feather detail but what I received looks like they were dipped in jet black paint from the neck down.
Though I feel deceived I’m still going to run them. Fingers crossed.
Merino wool is the natural choice for the mountain hunter. From 12 day Sheep hunts to early archery Elk hunts, Merino wool base layers will give you comfort and performance needed to keep pushing in the backcountry.
All new for 2018, Sitka’s Lightweight Merino wool base layer system takes premium Merino wool, legendary for moisture management and odor control, and wraps it around a nylon core, acheiving the best of both worlds; Merino wool that you can actually depend on to last.
I bought these to replace my old loose leggings, Was in market for a higher quality product and altough Sitka is more expensive then most brands i decided to buy this to see if truly the product was worth the price! well let me tell you that after having worn just This legging and a pair of trackpants ice fishing in -20c weather! it did exactly its job and kept me warm! the product is of great quality and would recommend if you have the budget! all around great product and will continue to buy sitka! well worth it!.

Just like the Earth’s equator is the dividing line between the distinct tropical and polar temperate zones, there’s a similar dividing line on the body while wearing chest waders: cold, hostile conditions above the waders and warm, humid conditions underneath.
That’s the premise of Drake’s patented Eqwader technology. It combines waterproof/breathable fabric on the sleeves and upper body and ultra-breathable stretch polyester Endurance lower to give you the best of both worlds.
The 100% waterproof Guardian Flex material on the upper keeps you completely dry, while the moisture-wicking lower torso works overtime to prevent moisture-vapor buildup. These dual zones of protection keep you dry both inside and outside of your waders.

This jacket is perfect for wearing over your waders. Its name is the Flooded Timber jacket but I use it almost every hunt. It is great to be able to put this jacket on early in the morning when setting up decoys and not have to worry about the bottom of it getting in the water.
The built-in face mask is awesome for those cold boat rides or when it is cold and nasty outside. The built-in Carbine Clip with Adjustable Tether and Storage Pouch is perfect for when you don’t need it and can hang it in a tree so it doesn’t get muddy.
I have worn this jacket during hunts where it rained and it held up great. Definitely recommend it to anyone!.
I bought it on clearance at a discount the ad said must purchase before X-date or while supply lasts. The catch was no returns. It fits great I was concerned I am a odd size and clothing is hard to buy that fits.
Their advertising is misleading you can buy the exact same products all year long for that price. For someone on a budget it is risky to buy something as expensive as they are and you can’t return them not even to exchange for different size.
I like the coat and bibs they seem to be well made and should keep me warm as advertised.
Dakota Decoys brings you a new level of reality in mallard full body decoys. The Windwalker motion bases create a smooth, natural motion that gives the appearance of the natural walking movement of live birds.
Each decoy is made from a blend of high and low density polyethylene. This mix gives the decoy the paint retention found with high density products, with a bit of flexibility to take the abuse found in hunting situations.
-These decoys are easily compressed to allow more to be carried in the same space. The rubber like plastic with which they are constructed appears quite durable. The 3-D features pressed into the surface of the decoys looks very good.
-I did not actually find the decoys to be as “lightweight” as anticipated. Each decoy weighs about 20 ounces (1 lb. -4 oz) before even adding any decoy anchors. For comparison, I own non-compressible standard weighted keel floating decoys for various manufacturers that weigh 4 to 6 ounces less.
-I found the inflation stems to be problematic. Permanently sealing the existing stems and installing standard Schrader tire stems with valves on the bottom of each of my decoys may resolve the issue.
When deflated for transport, my decoys develop unwanted dents and deformations. When carrying the decoys to my hunting blind, the plastic cools and stiffens and the dents and deformations become fixed.
I have no access to heated water or other heat sources in my blind that can be used to soften the plastic. The dents and deformations can be removed by overinflating the decoys slightly. I would rather not have to try to inflate the decoys with my breath, as the cold plastic would be very stiff.
Also, my decoys have already been exposed untreated water, and I really don’t want to develop Giardiasis or any other waterborne illness as a result of putting my mouth on a contaminated air stem. I considered using a compact tire pump to inflate the decoys at the blind but have found that the stems have no threading nor molding compatible with any of my standard air pump adapters.
Regardless of the means for providing compressed air, the stems themselves are flawed in that they have no valves to contain compressed air. Any compressed air added to the decoys simply escapes the stem before I can install the plastic stem plug.
(Also, many of the plastic stem plugs leak air quickly. ) -So, for now, in cold weather conditions, my most reasonable option has been to overinflate the decoys in a warm building prior to hunting, and to carry the decoys fully inflated to the blind.
The decoys do deflate slightly while cooling, but he unwanted dents and deformities are avoided. Unfortunately, this option does negate any space saving offered by the purchase of “packable” inflatable decoys.
I had an issue with Dakota Decoy company which they solved in a quick and professional manner. I am very appreciative of how the handled my issue and they treated me. Because of that experience I had with them I am taking the time to write a review about their recent decoys I purchased and hunted over last year.
The Inflatable packable Mallards are identical to the regular Dakota Mallard decoys. I hunt public land and pack my decoys in and out on foot every day I hunt. These decoys are noticeably lighter. Now, since they are collapsible, I am able to fit carry another dozen decoys in my decoy sack while still carrying the same amount of weight on my back.
I wash my decoys lightly with soap and water after each hunt so my decoys will look a little better than the next guys regardless, but these decoys still appear new after being carried in and out of public land 20-30 days this past season.
These decoys also must be squeezed and the air hole has to be capped in order for them to stay deflated. In other words, these decoys will not collapse on their own and their tendency is to expand back to the full form.
Since this is the case, these decoys will never have the wrinkles or oddly shaped body like the original inflatable Cherokee Decoys. The air holes do not have to be capped in order for these decoys to float and is really only used when they need to be deflated for storage.
I purchased two six packs of these decoys online from you. The website listed the mallard heads as painted. I am impressed with the quality of these decoys. The two six packs contained drakes with flocked heads.
I hunt rice checks out here in California. We leave our decoys out all season. Flocked heads do not hold up in the sun and rain. I was lead to believe that I was buying painted heads. Check your site.
This Vise accommodates the widest possible array of firearms. TiptonTM Best Gun ViseTM. The central aluminum channel lets you move individual components for the ideal position and secure support. High-quality, solvent-resistant material to stand up to years of hard use.
My brother has the older version of this vise and while this one is very usable it doesn’t have the rigidity of his and the buttstock clamp on his is more substantial than this one (this one flexes a bit too much for my liking).
I realize that in order to remain competitively priced that manufacturers have to find corners to cut but in this case the clamp area should have been constructed with more rigidity and the base shouldn’t show warp areas from the mold due to reduction of mass.
I also suggest lengthening at least one adjustment bolt for the center support as you need to hold the supplied bolt in place so you can start the threads on the tightening nut. All said, I’ve used it for cleaning my AR, my bolt-action hunting rifle, an auto-loader shotgun and a couple pistols.
With the exception of the short bolt for the center support, it is easy to set up and adjust. I recommend it as a reasonably-priced option for the hobby shooter.
This vise is by far the most versatile gun vises around! The functionality and stability of the vise is second to none. The ability to function as a handgun vise makes it a great option as well. This is also one of the few vises that provides an L-shape center support piece, which allows it to support break open rifles and shotguns for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Actually have already written a review however, I don’t mind reiterating what I have previously said. The Tipton vise comes in a box and requires assembly, if you can tie your shoe laces without your mom’s help, then, you’re golden with this aspect.
This device easily accommodates rifles, shotguns, and pistols. It is made of plastic which does not bother me in the least, the plastic is resistant to gun products but don’t get crazy and start cleaning your weapon with xylene, toluene, or acetone, it’s resistant to gun care products! Tipton’s vise can be bolted to a table for a more permanently stable set-up but it also has 4 rubber pods which for me, held nicely on my dinning room table, yeah, don’t tell my wife, besides, it’s too cold to mess around in my garage shop.
ANYWAY, the vise has polyurethane rubber pads everywhere your prized riffle, shotgun, or pistol may need to rest, sit, or be held, thus, no concerns with marring your beloved wood stocks, grips, and new or newly finished metal, or just because you meticulously anal about your weapon like me.
The vise has an easily buttstock clamp which is screwed into place with two large black knobs, which there are 5-6 on this device making adjustments a breeze. The rails are aluminum and enable moving the supports a brainless endeavor.
This Tipton vise is light and easily moved, carried, and placed anywhere there is a 14″ X 36″ stable, space. The supporting tray or bottom body of the vise has numerous indentures that allow placement of tools and parts, nothing huge however (if you require a sledge hammer, that simply ain’t gonna fit) but parts/tool holders are still sufficient and enable one to keep track of their parts, There are higher quality more robust vises on the market but I’m not a gunsmith, I’m a gun enthusiast, thus, this piece is excellent and a great bargain.
The patented Butt Out 2 makes field dressing easy by allowing hunters to quick disconnect the anal alimentary canal from deer and other similar-size big game. The Butt Out 2 is an extra 2″ longer than the original, making it easier to maintain a firm grip on the handle during field dressing chores.
The enhanced “Butt Stop” feature molded into the handle makes it easier to keep the Butt Out inserted to the proper length when removing the animal’s alimentary canal. The Butt Out 2 works for deer, antelope, bear, hogs, and similar-sized big game.
Simply insert the Butt Out 2 into the animal’s alimentary canal, twist and pull to remove a portion of the intestine, which can then be tied off and removed. This eliminates having to cut around the area with a knife, making the field dressing process quicker, safer, and easier.
As titled. Works as advertised and cleans up easily. Ive given several people this tool as a gift. All have liked it very much. Definitely worth the space in your pack. The plastic of this newer version seems like it might be a bit more brittle? Ill keep the smaller one around as a back up.
I’ve always struggled with the butt-hole – tried this for the first time on a whitetailed deer this week, and it worked perfectly! Seriously, its so easy, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS though. Every video on youtube (except a couple) shows them using this thing wrong, why even make a video then ? geez.
Mojo has developed the most convenient easy way to pick up empty shotgun hulls in the field, utilizing a specially designed magnet mounted into an easy to use, adjustable staff. Will pick up as many as 25 hulls at a time.
Easily raked off into a bag, bucket, etc. Light weight and handy, adjust from 32″” to 55″”. Comfortable and convenient handle. Never bend over to pickup hulls again. Works in water or on dry land.
Love the MOJO Stick. I shoot sporting clays with a semi auto and picking up spent shells with the MOJO Stick is a breeze. No more bending over (at my age that’s a big deal), making two trips with hands full to the collection barrel.
The MOJO stick works well for almost all shotgun shells. Occasionally there will be a brand of shells where it’s less effective, but that’s rare. It picks up based on the steel in the primers and it’s easy to pick up a handful of shells at one time, then strip them off into bucket, box or shell bag using the hand not holding the MOJO stick.
New for 2021 is the BOG Camo DeathGrip. The more reclusive brother to the ever-popular aluminum DeathGrip this tripod has all of the same great features but in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo. Take on your UNKNOWN season after season with the DeathGrip Camo.
So far so really good! I needed a tripod for a few reasons and it’s worked out very well. It’s very well built and solid. You might expect a few components to have some play and wobble however not the case.
It locks up very tight and also deploys quietly and smooth. Weighing eight lbs you can feel how well built it is. For the money it has been an excellent purchase. I was considering the carbon fiber model to shave weight but it only was going to knock the bipod down just over a pound so I stuck with this model.
I am going to use this tomorrow morning to sight in a scope. The standard 100 meters will be the goal but once sighted in you can bet I will stretch it out to 700-800 yards using the tripod. It’s that sturdy of a tripod to take those shots out of a.
Two 1/2′′ mounting holes ( With thick ears to take hits without breaking)Hang from both holes for more stability but you can hang from a single hole – Plasma cutting cuts slowly, this puts a lot of heat into the steel.
( Submerged plasma cutting machine is no better) This excess heat can result in excessive chipping and damage near the cut edge during use and easily shattering when shot. Plasma cutting generates large amounts of heat that is deposited into the target, softening it’s edges.
The heat-affected zone (HAZ) generated by plasma cutting is the largest out of the most commonly used methods for cutting abrasion resistant steel. Most AR500 is cut with plasma cutters as they are cheap and relatively small compared to other methods.

There are a few things to consider when choosing a gauge for duck hunting. The first is the type of shotgun you will be using. A 12 gauge shotgun is the most popular choice for duck hunting, as it is powerful enough to take down most types of ducks.
However, if you are using a lighter shotgun, such as a 20 gauge, you may want to consider using a smaller gauge. The second thing to consider is the type of ammunition you will be using. Lead shot is the most popular choice for duck hunting, as it is heavier and more likely to penetrate the thick feathers of ducks.
If you are using a steel shot, you may want to consider a larger gauge, as steel shot is less dense and may not penetrate the feathers as well. Finally, you will need to consider the range at which you will be hunting.
If you are hunting at long range, you may want to consider a larger gauge, as the larger shot will have more energy and be less likely to be deflected by the wind.
