Id say around 1 if not before. Depends on the child tho like so many other people say. I think with my 1st I did it before a year. When u start going to sippy cup the ones with handles on each side are best then they will get the concept of raising the cup to their mouth that way. Thats how I weened my son anyways. I think it depends on the child . But most doctors recommend being off at a year. I got yelled at by my wic office because my son was not off the bottle at 1 years old.
My Dr. always said after their first birthday. I started with afternnon ones.. replacing with a sippy cup. Then after they got a hang of that replacing the evening one… worked well for all three of mine! Good luck!
