spring Im not sure. I personally like Christmas
That sounds so fun–have a wonderful Easter!
That sounds wonderful! Best wishes for your Passover gathering!
Easter Sunday is a big deal to us!!! The kids get goodies,I take a hundred pics and we have a fun day together and then a nice meal.
We celebrate Easter and spend time with our families. My kids are too old for the Easter bunny but we still watch our nieces and nephews look for the eggs.
We celebrate with a Messianic Passover Seder… and love this time of year when we can set out our gardens and enjoy all the beautiful blooms, as well as watching the birds building their nests. I think this definitely my favorite time of the year.
I’m impressed that so many people have Easter egg hunts–it sounds like there are lots of joyful traditions. Thank you all for sharing!
We do an Easter egg hunt in the back yard. The girls stay in their pjs. Makes for some cute pictures. Then we visit my parents and have another Easter egg hunt. Dinner at the in-laws. Lots of family fun!
We have a big family dinner for Easter hope my son can make it this week. We have never really gotten into the whole easter egg hunt thing but we thought we might give it a go this year for the young ones.
WE HAVE A DINNER WITH FAMILY AND AN EASTER EGG HUNT FOR THE GRANDBABIES.
Our family usually goes out to church then we have lunch and finally an all out candy eating fest.
My family always celebrates Easter with a big dinner and egg hunt for the kids. It’s always a lot of fun.But my favorite spring “thing” is getting my garden in shape, cleaning the fish pool, and just enjoying nature!
My son and daughter both play ball… this spring makes me very sad, because my oldest is graduating from high school… and getting ready to move out of state for college.

Spring Soccer and T-ball sign-ups are two ways to tell Spring is coming around our house!
Oh kickball and volleyball–I almost forgot about those! That’s great you all are so active!

We like beginning all our outdoor fun again; volleyball, basketball, kickball…all those sports you can’t play (at least outside) during the winter!
Every year since I was a baby my ENTIRE family goes to my Granny and Poppy’s house and we eat lunch (a lunch equal to that of Thanksgiving) and the big kids hide the eggs for the little kids. Always a blast!
Easter is my favorite season of all. Not only because of my religion, but becasue usually everything is blooming and beautiful. The colors are wonderful. And around my neck of California, the weather is nice and crisp.
We put Easter eggs (plastic) around the yard for our little one to find and we usually put chocolate, stickers or some other small toy inside. A basket of goodies is usually part of the hunt. Just watching smiles and hearing the giggles makes my day.
We always celebrate Easter at my parents house. They have a big gathering. If it is nice out we cook on the grill or if it is cold out we have a more traditional dinner. The town we live in also has a huge Easter egg hunt for the all the kids and they give away bikes to probably about 50% of the participants. It is always a really big deal during an election year because the politicians buy bikes to try to sway the voters.
Several churches in our town get together for an Easter Sunrise Service in the park. Then we all move in to our church for breakfast. There are Easter services following breakfast at the individual churches. So after doing church all morning we’ll go home and all cook a big dinner together. My 3 year old granddaughter is very excited to wear her new Easter dress, too, which she says makes her look like a princess.
My favorite spring tradition is searching for Easter Eggs at my Aunt Linda’s house. All ages participate every Easter. She hides about 200 eggs so everyone gets a chance to fill their basket.
I love taking my two boys and step-daughter to the park. My boys are very high energy toddlers and they love to run around and climb and swing. I’m looking forward to the local Easter Egg Hunt held at a park. They divide areas up into different age groups so even the little kids have a chance at finding eggs.
Easter egg hunt at Grandamas! Soooo excited that we wont have to wear winter coats this year… I hope!
I feel like spring is sort of a mercurial season. The weather is often erratic, fluctuating between winter blasts and summer heat, so it’s hard to plan outdoor activities.
I would love to hear about Easter egg hunts or other events people participate in!
