The Google+ button at the bottome of the page isn’t working. I’t doesn’t look like anyone has been able to + this page. Can someone at Social Moms look into this?

I emailed support@socialmoms.com to inquire about this…because it would be great if we could +1 the posts!
My thoughts exactly:) Not sure why it isn’t working.
I think it’s odd that we just received another message urging us to +1 the page in the bottom right, even though it it still not working…
AWESOME ANSWERS!! I WAS WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON!! I TRIED TO GOOGLE +1 THEM AND A BIG RED ! SHOWED UP LOL..THANKS YA’LL FOR CLEARiN THAT UP:)
I think the toolbar at the bottom that has the +1 is a “standard” toolbar for the site just making it easier to perform certain functions like tweeting and getting to the RSS feed, itunes store, ect. It probably came generic with a +1 button. That is my assumption anyway.
Most websites are not set up on an app like Social Moms, so the function would work on 99% of websites. I guess I would rather have a “useless” button on the bottom toolbar than not have the app
I think that is an issue with Google Plus not social moms. I am sure in the near future they will have it worked out.
As for finding the article, it doesn’t look like it was posted onto their Google + account. It doesn’t appear that they post every article just one every so often. That is something they will probably change as they realize that no one can +1 articles from here.
Thanks for sharing this, I was curious too!
Thanks for the answer Tara!
I appreciate the tip Tara. I too couldn’t find it on their +1 feed. I hope someone from SocialMoms sees this thread so they can reassess their promotional activity in regards to +1
Thanks Tara. It seems that the +1 button shouldn’t be visible there, then, because it makes me think that I did +1 it. I don’t see the OnStar article in my SocialMoms feed; do you know when it was posted? (or how I would search for it)?
You won’t be able to +1 the page from there. You would have to log-in to your google plus account and +1 the articles on the Social Moms profile.
Reason being Social Moms if running off of the loyalty plus app. Google plus won’t let you +1 something that is running off of an app.
“Apps user: Google profiles aren’t available for Apps accounts, so you won’t be able to use the +1 button.”
According to their site:
A +1 button error can occur for a variety of reasons, including the following:
•Server timeout: Check your Internet connection and try refreshing the page.
•Suspended profile: If your profile has been suspended, you won’t be able to +1 content.
•Apps user: Google profiles aren’t available for Apps accounts, so you won’t be able to use the +1 button.
•Blocked cookies: If you’ve disabled 3rd party cookies in your browser you won’t be able to use the +1 button.
I d/l but it didn’t appear! Go Fig!
