I have the same problem as above- on some socialmom pages there is no area to leave a comment and on other pages the FB comment box shows up fine at the bottom- I am logged in, I can see the link to “log out” but some pages just aren’t showing a way to comment!!! Very frustrating and has made me avoid coming to socialmoms the last few weeks.

im sure if we are patient enough they will get the rest of the kinks worked out
Facebook has crazy rules about “contests” or “giveaways” and I am assuming since you get points for sharing and commenting they are considering that a “gifting” for sharing on facebook which is against the rules.
Either way, I have said this on another Q&A on here. I think the points are great, but it is something that social moms does that is special. They don’t have to do it and I don’t know of many other sites that will give you points for doing things like this that you would most likely (or at least I) would already do. it is something they are just giving away. I guess I just don’t understand why everyone gets upset about it when it is a gift. It would be like me getting mad at a company who was sending me a free gift just for being a customer then complaining because it took a month to get the free product. It is free.
Social Moms is a great place for articles and a community with other moms. I will continue to use the site because I like reading and interacting with everyone. The points are a bonus. So thanks Social Moms for having a great community and for putting all the time and effort into the site that you do. Sorry that you are having difficulties with the companies you are working with on this. Either way, I love your site

They just sent out an email about this problem. Guess it is something associated with new Facebook rules. Hope it works out okay for them.
I FOUND THAT ON i.e IT DOESNT SHOW UP ON COMMENTS ON MY END, i HAD TO DOWNLOAD FIREFOX TO COMMENT, BUT HERE LATELY i HAVENT BEEN GETTING ANY POINTS FOR COMMENTING.
Hmm, I haven’t had this happen. Sounds really strange!
I have experienced that in the past- now I find that I can only comment maybe once a month but I’m not exactly sure when so I keep checking
