Just look for non-GMO and try not to have high concentrations of it in your diet. Everything in moderation. That’s my motto.

I have never heard of it not being good for you. As far as I know it is.

Has plant estrogen that mimics that found naturally in your body. Soy estrogen could be dangerous in high concentrations because high levels of estrogen in the body put women at a higher risk for breast cancer. Estrogen encourages the proliferation of milk ducts in the breast, which carry the milk through the breast. Most breast cancers occur within these milk ducts.

GMO (genetically modified – the most common) are not good for your health. I would assume that regular ones would be fine for you. Basically GMO soybeans have been genetically engineered to withstand having round-up sprayed on them on not killing them. All of those chemicals are absorbed by the bean, still. Plus, soy is high in estrogen so consumed in high dosages is bad for both men and women.

The issue with soy is that the majority of our soybean crops are now genetically-modified. (GMO) However, if you purchase organic soybeans or a brand that ensures they are not genetically-modified they are a fantastic and healthy snack :)
