I have done the master cleanse, but had to stop after a few days from a really bad headache and getting sick.
Thanks for sharing. That’s is good to know.
Just don’t do a cleanse if you are pregnant… it sends a lot of toxins floating around before it finally gets it all out. Bad for the baby.
I went to GNC and found one – they helped me to pick it out – it was hard, but we found one that was good for me.
I have several times but have only had success by changing my entire lifestyle. For the past 30 days I have incorporated a cleansing shake from karynraw.com. I did a raw diet for two weeks and lost 15 pounds. I was vegan 5 years but really had not lost weight for whatever reason. Now I feel great, and with 10 lbs to go, feel optimistic and am finally looking forward to my 45th birthday Friday.
my friend and zumba instructor sells natural cleanses you can check out her site at http://www.boundlessmovement.com/WWW.BOUNDLESSMOVEMENT.COM/Isagenix_Products.html
A lot of the woman in my zumba class have lost 10 + lbs on the 9 day cleanse and are thrilled with the results. I am still nursing so I have not tried it yet.
I’ve done a juice cleanse. It helps get your body more alkaline on the pH scale, and fills your body with things you know are good — veggies. I would recommend watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead (it’s a documentary, check Netflix, if you have it). Also, here are some juicing tips: http://naturallyconfusedmom.com/2011/12/22/5-must-know-tips-for-juicing/
haven’t yet still looking into different options, this may be challenging!
thank you for this information, i will look into the daniel fasting, i had never heard of it before. I am thinking of doing a cleanse for health reasons, maybe to help me have more energy??
Thanks again!
What detox did you decide on?
I’ve done some Daniel Fasting. It’s worth it but the detox has made me sick enough to vomit. Caffeine and sugar withdrawel combined was a bit much. But again, worth it in the end, for the way your body feels.
Not for me either! I love to eat way too much to be able to go through with it.
I have done colon cleansing and herbal cleansing. You just have to see whats about.
My Pastor’s wife has done it a couple times, but I am not sure of the details.
A few of the college kids I work with actually did a cleanse during spring break… they gained all the weight back in less than a week.. A lot of work for nothing they said!
Hmmmm. Not for me….
thanks ladies, i have heard drinking juices, maybe carrot juice to help with a cleanse, will do some more research. I have fatigue so that is the reason for looking into this.
I have heard pros and cons about body cleanses. Supposedly a cleanse can help with allergies and fatigue and overall health. But it can also be harmful if you basically go a few days without ingesting adequate calories. So I would proceed with caution1
I AM INTERESTED TOO.
I have not had a body cleanse, but I have done a lot of reading up on it.My advice to you is to talk to your health professional or a nutritionist before buying any cleansing product for your body. Some are very harsh and effect your negatively .That and I think you may need a change in your diet when you do the body cleanse. No sense in cleansing if the upkeep isn’t being done. Good Luck in your venture !
I have. Its mind over matter
I have not but I am interested as well.
