I used Listia quite a bit last year, but you have to bid on items using points and in order to get points you have to either purchase them (which is expensive) or sell stuff you have. I got some bargains but it is time consuming.
Thred Up is a great option. I have received two boxes of clothes from their site and I was very happy with both of them.
My biggest steals thus far have been found on Craigs List. I have gotten some great name brand clothing in great condition for a fraction of what I would have paid to get those items new in store.

There are online thrift stores out there, but they all seem to be overpriced. Every now and then you can find stuff on etsy.

There is a marketplace that I promote on my website that has good items both new and used. http://www.livespoiled.com/p/marketplace.html They are a newer company but already have some great new and used items. Hope that helps.

I wish there was a good one. We live in a small town and only one dinky thrift store. Not a lot there.

  33. hopescafe says:

I’ve heard that Once In A Blue Moon is pretty good, but never really checked it out myself. I think they’re a little pricier than your normal thrift store.

  34. Melanie says:

I mean, something other than “ebay”.
