Definitely don’t want to be a stage mom–Fisher Price would be fun to work with though!

Start with SAG listed agencies…they have acting yes…but, there is also modeling ones. If you need more info…let me know.

I’ve always been curious about getting mine into modeling. I’m always being told that I should get them into it, but I’m on the fence. Haha!

I would love to get my girls into modeling as well, but I don’t even know where to start.

Of course! I know people have this idea of a “stage mom”(I think that’s only in those weird pageants) …but we only came across nothing but professional, very kind people!! It’s lots of fun if you do it for right reasons and the right way! Let me know if you need any links :)

This sounds interesting. I know my little sister would be great for modeling as she is quite a ham:)

Most of the local agencies are not going to come up with much. If you live by a big city that is something different. Make sure they are registered with SAG. it should NEVER cost you anything until they get booked, and that is typically 20% for Print and 10% for acting jobs. If your child is younger than 3 they shouldn’t recommend headshots as they are constantly changing. If your child has no interest in it..don’t bother…a great agent won’t want them unless THEY WANT to be there! Good luck ladies.

  12. themombuzz says:

I bet she’s changed a lot in a year. You should resubmit her. You never know! Fingers crossed for you.

My youngest is like that. LOL. Getting pictures of him is insane. But my oldest always strikes multiple poses for me.

Alot of people have told my I should get my middle son into modeling but too much for my lil man! He dont want to model, he wants to go play and get dirty like most little boys do.

  15. lawnanoe says:

i signed my daughter up with a local agency a little over a year ago. she was around 1 at the time. everyone kept telling me that she should be a model so i finally signed her up. nothing has come up yet. i have not really been proactive about it though. i dont want to put any more money into it. i didnt want to say i wish i had tried years from now so whatever happens, happens.

Did Commercial Kids find a way to get a free ad here?

Funny, though, I was actually googling this yesterday. I do know you don’t need to get headshots of kids or babies to submit them to local modeling agencies. I submitted my oldest son yesterday. If something comes of it, cool. It not, whatever. I just thought he’d have fun with it.
