I did Crayola finger paints with my daughter for my mom for her first mothers day, we made hand and feet prints for her, and she adored them! And one wipe, and the paint is cleaned up!
I would do hand prints and foot prints in a frame with a poem or something.
Hand prints into plaster of paris. Nice keepsake.
Framed photos work for us
Thanks everyone for the suggestions i really appreciate them
This this idea is my fav so far…but will the pudding stay on the paper?
Have your child do a painting with finger paint, then frame it.
A finger painting! Use pudding instead of paint if you think your child will try to eat it!
THOSE HANDMADE CARDS ARE A GREAT IDEA.REALLY PERSONAL.THEY KNOW YOU TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE THEM AND THAT MEANS MORE THAN ANYTHING BOUGHT.
RACHEL THOSE ARE GOOD IDEAS.ALL NANAS LOVE PIX OF THEIR GRANDBABIES AND THE HANDPRINT IS A GREAT IDEA!
just a nice handmade card with pictures
depends what she likes but you can frame a photo of her grand daughter, or i like the handprint idea. How about a hand painted rock she cn display in her garden? A coupon for a dinner at your place is another idea, or you can also frame all sorts of diff art, something you both find on a nature walk, or old wallpaper strips. Lots of things come to mind. good luck!
Baked goods… always a winner.
A framed picture is always nice and goes a long way at making them feel special.
Get a cheap picture frame and do a handprint or silhouette of your child, maybe with a quote or poem?
