Congratulations to With Just a Bit of Magic: the SocialMoms Blog of the Week!

Looking for a clean, fun, inspirational parenting blog? Check out With Just a Bit of Magic. Jackie is a working mom of four children and she still finds time to share her stories and even post recipes, reviews, and more.

SM: What was your inspiration for starting With Just A Bit of Magic?

I don’t know that I had any real inspiration, it was just something that I wanted to do for a long time. I wanted to write, share, and see where it took me and I’m glad that I did it.

SM: What has most surprised you about running the site?

I don’t know that anything surprised me that much. I have learned a great deal along the way though and one thing that does stick out is community. I have found the most wonderful group of people out there and am proud to call them friends… some very close and more than the ones that I’ve had in real life. And the kicker… we haven’t even met in real life! The women who are part of the blogging community are open, honest, helpful, and are always there when you need someone.

SM: What are you most passionate about?

My kids. They are the number one thing in my life and are a constant source of pride, love, and enjoyment. I can’t imagine my life without them.

SM: What is the most popular section of your site?

This is a hard question. I think that it varies from day to day depending on what I write and if I link up with other blogs or meme’s.

SM: What is your favorite part of blogging?

My favorite part about blogging…. hmmm… well, I think I have two things that are my favorite. I love the community that I’ve become part of. They’re a truly wonderful group of people and I love when I get a comment or Tweet from someone who has read something I’ve written and it touches them, makes them laugh, or gives them an idea. It’s then that I feel like I’ve done something good for someone else.

SM: Do you have any blogging resolutions for the new year?

I never make resolutions! I never keep them no matter how hard I try. My plan is to keep on doing what I’m doing while adding in a new feature or two down the road this year.

Sharing is caring!
