Get ready for a summer of fun and thrills as you test out these amazing new attractions at theme parks across the country.

Voyage to the Iron Reef at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California

Knott’s Berry Farm newest ride is the 3-D interactive “Voyage to the Iron Reef”. Guests will experience what it’s like to explore the deep seas as they climb aboard four-person submarine-inspired vehicles. Freeze ray-guns can be used to gather the catches of the day, from ballooning puffer fish to an iron-clad octopus. 600 feet of track and live-action special effects will bring hundreds of marine creatures to life on this action-packed, interactive ride.

Fast & Furious Supercharged at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California

Universal Studios Hollywood will usher in its 50th anniversary with a revamped Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour. Expect more famous movie scenes to come alive before your eyes. A 50,000-square-foot “Fast & Furious Supercharged” motion simulator will welcome the tour trams into an immersive 3-D experience. A new “Simpsons”-themed area will bring Springfield to life.

SlideZilla at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park in Denver, Colorado

Get ready to zip down a six-story hybrid slide when “SlideZilla” debuts at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park in downtown Denver, Colorado. Four riders seated in a clover-shaped raft will zoom through a curved chute and into a swirling 24-foot tornado funnel. The grand finale is a 57 ft. drop into a massive four-story-tall bowl.

Harley Quinn Spinsanity and Joker Chaos Coaster at SixFlags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia

Join the Joker and the evil villains of Gotham City on “Harley Quinn Spinsanity” and wild, looping “Joker Chaos Coaster” at this 290-acre Georgia theme park. On “The Joker Chaos Coaster,” twenty guests sit face to face as they glide forward and backward looping multiple times a whopping seven stories in the air. You’ll spin until you hit the dizzy zone on “Harley Quinn Spinsanity,” a seven car ride that follows a circular track. For another incredible thrill, visitors can also experience the “Batman: The Ride” roller coaster backwards for a limited time.

Thunderbird at Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana

Soar away on “Thunderbird,” a first-of-its-kind launching wing coaster that launches from zero-to-60-mph then twists around a barrel roll, a 14-story-Immelmann loop, and another loop 125 feet in the air.

DreamMore Resort at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Dolly Parton will be officially inaugurating her new 60-acre, 307-room, family-friendly resort this summer. With its lazy river, a splash park, two pools, a spa and Kid’s Club area, this resort will be a welcome addition to the already action-packed theme park. The scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains make it worth a long summer stay.

Slideboarding at Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada

Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas will be welcoming the first ever water slide integrated with a video game: Sliders will try to score points as they splash down a water slide flume equipped with lights, sounds, and colorful targets they try to hit using the raft’s game controller handles.
