The weather has turned into gorgeous sunny days. Flowers are popping up from the ground and soon Easter will be here. It’s the dressiest day of the spring season for many, so what should you wear? Taking a tip from many of the season’s trends you can find the right combination between comfortable and dressed up in whatever way suits you best. Maybe just not a full-blown pastel Easter egg colored suit.

Spring Fashion

Pretty Pastels

Love them or hate them pastels reign supreme when it comes to Easter time fashion. Think powdery yellow, serenity blue, lavender and muted shades of pink that bring to mind the tips of sweet baby animal noses. Is that a tad too much? Well, when it comes to Easter none of it is especially when mixed with neutrals like white, ivory, black, and navy to add a chic and sharp contrast that is always on point.

Beautiful Boho Chic

The bohemian look has been around for quite a few seasons but with the release of Pantone’s color of the year being rose quartz and serenity (a soft shade of blue) the trend has really found new ground. Think white peasant blouses paired with khaki wide-leg slacks or navy pixie pants. Throw on a tiny floral print maxi dress to wear with some brown wedge sandals or ankle boots complete the look.

Fresh Florals

Dark floral prints may have dominated the fall and winter but when it comes to spring and Easter time nothing looks finer than a spray of brightly colored florals adorning a crisp white dress. Pick a style that fits you best like sheath, A-line or skater and find a white dress bedecked in a floral print that is saturated in vibrant reds, oranges, blues, yellows and hot pink. Add a pump or flat in a complimentary bright shade to keep it feeling up to date.

Ladylike Charm

Easter hats have always been in style but this holiday is the perfect time to show a little or a lot of your ladylike style. Slip into that dress. Add a blazer to your cropped pants and put on some pumps or bedecked ballet flats and emphasize the chicness of ladylike charm. Sheath and A-line dresses with a touch of flounce work well. Wide-leg trousers and a tailored blouse never miss.  Midi skirts with a cardigan or button down and paired with a structured bag highlight any figure while still feeling comfortable, stylish and dressed for the occasion. Slip on wedge sandals, ballet flats, espadrilles or heels in a neutral tone to wrap the look up into a pretty picture. You’ll be ready for church, brunch, tea or whatever Easter has in store for you.
