Thanksgiving is over, but chances are you still have some leftovers hanging out in your fridge or freezer. What should you do with this yummy food? The possibilities are truly endless, but I have compiled a list of some of my favorite post-Thanksgiving day recipes from some of my foodie favorites.

Leftover Stuffing

Leftover stuffing is one of my favorite items because it is so versatile. However, Sunny Anderson from the Food Network takes stuffing leftovers to a whole new level with her Second Day Fried Stuffing Bites with Cranberry Sauce Pesto. I love her recipe because it utilizes two of my favorite Thanksgiving staples, stuffing and cranberry sauce, into a delicious post-Thanksgiving snack.

Leftover Turkey

You probably can’t get enough turkey leftover recipes. I know at our house turkey is consumed for every meal following Thanksgiving right up until Monday when we have to toss it. I prefer not to waste any food, so I incorporate turkey into everything. Here are a few of my favorite turkey leftover recipes.

On the Ultimate Recipe Showdown there was an awesome Triple Threat Chili recipe. This recipe is the perfect solution to spice up your turkey day leftovers. It calls for ground buffalo and ground turkey, but I have found it is just as tasty if you double up the turkey and skip the buffalo. In fact, if you don’t have a meat grinder to grind your turkey, you can just use shaved and chopped turkey in the recipe successfully as well.

If you want an Asian inspired Thanksgiving leftover recipe, I recommend the Turkey Spring Roll recipe from Food Network Magazine. The recipe is super easy to make and is a fantastic take on Thanksgiving leftovers.

Since the weather is cooling off, you are probably looking for some great hot soup recipes as well. Alton Brown’s Bird to the Last Drop turkey soup recipe is definitely a winner. What I love about this recipe is that it incorporates the part of the turkey we typically throw out, the carcass. The bones will add a depth of flavor to the soup that is definitely a post-Thanksgiving winner.

Ultimate Turkey Sandwich

When most people think of Thanksgiving leftovers they probably picture the tried and true turkey sandwich. If you want a new rendition of this favorite, try the Turkey, Cranberry, and Fontina Panini. This sandwich uses both your leftover turkey and cranberry sauce for one tasty Panini. You may never go back to a traditional turkey sandwich again.

The Ultimate Leftover Pizza

Duff Goldman may be better known for his cake creations, but he’s also has created the ultimate Thanksgiving leftover recipe with his Thanksgiving Pizza. This pizza is fantastic because it literally uses all of your food in one cohesive dish: the potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and gravy in this ultimate Thanksgiving leftover creation.

These are just a few of my favorite recipes to give you Thanksgiving leftovers a little pizzaz. What is your favorite recipe?
