Can you believe that summer is already over?  You may not have been able to get time off or take a vacation but there’s an undeniably carefree season that comes with the warmer months.  Unfortunately, it cannot last forever.

Now that the fall is upon us, it’s time to settle down and get back into our routines.  As you try to tame the madness, here are a few apps that could make your day a lot easier.

Pocket

Formerly known as Read It Later, Pocket allows users to save articles, videos and web pages so that you can check them out later.  It’s cool because you can save from your browser but you can also save from other apps including Twitter and Flipboard.

The greatest part this bookmarking tool is that it syncs across platforms so, if it’s in Pocket, you won’t even need an internet connection to view from your phone, tablet or computer!

Mailbox

Email has made the ability to communicate a lot easier but it can also be overwhelming.  If you find that your inbox is constantly overflowing and you’re struggling to keep track of everything, you may want to check out Mailbox.  The app helps you tame the craziness by allowing you to categorize all of your unread mail based on when it needs to be addressed.

Checkmark

Do you ever wish that your to-do list could actually remind you to do something?  Now it can! Checkmark allows users to set up reminders based on time and location so, if you really need a gallon of milk, the app can remind you as soon as you get near the grocery store!  A similar feature is included on the iPhone but this app takes it to the next level.

1Password

It feels like you need a password to do anything nowadays.  The ironic thing is that you use a password to keep your private things safe but you also need to protect your password.  That can be a real challenge for people who don’t have photographic memories.  Fortunately, the 1Password app makes it simple since it can help you create and store strong, unique passwords.

Bump

Bump is a great app for sharing pictures and files without having to actually go in to your phone and manually do anything.  So if you and a fellow mom love swapping pictures from soccer games and swim meets, you can just bump your two phones together and let the magic happen. The best part?  This is a cross platform app so you don’t need to have the same type of phone

This isn’t an exhaustive list but there are so many great apps out there that it would be impossible to include them all.  Look around for the ones that work best for you and enjoy feeling organized!
