While many people kicked back and relaxed over the holiday weekend, some celebrity moms definitely had a lot going on. Here’s what you missed:
Kendra Wilkinson Admits Split from Husband
We’ve all seen the signs for a few years now but, over the past week, talk of divorce really picked up around Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, Hank Baskett. Sadly, we have confirmation that the rumors are true.
The Kendra on Top star posted some very emotional videos on her Instagram story on Monday and said: “Ten years. I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him and my heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever, I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared, but I have to get strong for my kids — I will.”
That’s tough. Anyone who has been through a separation or divorce knows how she’s feeling right now. It’s definitely a struggle.
Kendra ended the message by acknowledging the support she’s been receiving. “Thank you to all my friends and family for supporting me at the moment,” she said. “Every little ounce of love helps, thank you. I never thought I’d see the day, really.”
The split comes after Baskett was accused of having an affair with a transgender model back in 2014. The former couple wed in 2009 and share son, Hank IV, 8, and daughter, Alijah, 3.

Jennifer Garner and Kids Spend Easter with Ben Affleck
Even though their marriage ended under rocky circumstances, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck seem to be making every effort to co-parent in a healthy way. This, of course, is great for their children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.
Since Affleck is on location filming Triple Frontier in Hawaii, Garner rounded up the kids and traveled to Hawaii so that they could all spend Easter together. While they visited the Sea Life Park as a group, Garner also took the opportunity to get away and do some hiking with a female friend.
Earlier in the week, Affleck was spotted holding hands with his new girlfriend (and rumored mistress), Lindsay Shookus, a producer for Saturday Night Live.
Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s Pregnancy April Fool’s Joke Backfires
Despite the fact that Arie Luyendyk Jr. had already made headlines for all the wrong reasons, the former Bachelor star still managed to find a way to upset even more people when he and his fiancée, Lauren Burnham, pulled a pregnancy-related prank for April Fool’s Day.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show, Luyendyk’s season of The Bachelor wrapped recently and, in a stunning turn of events, he dumped the woman he had initially chosen, Becca Kufrin, on camera. It was a painful breakup with many feeling as though he seemed heartless and callous. He immediately begged Burnham to take him back and it was revealed that he had, in fact, been in touch with his ex for a while. Yikes.
Public opinion of the couple isn’t very high so, when they posted an image claiming that she was expecting their first child as a joke, they were heavily criticised for being insensitive to women who struggle with infertility. Luyendyk apologized to anyone who may have been offended.
