Have you ever taken your family to a fall festival? There’s something magical about sharing an exciting day with your loved ones – dining on great-tasting food, listening to bands, and participating in all the fun events. October is National Seafood Month and SeaPak wants to share the festivities through a virtual festival and celebration called Shrimptacular. Throughout the month, they’ll be giving away coupons and prizes – and they’d love to have you join in the fun!

Fall festivals may traditionally mean caramel apples and corn on the cob – but Shrimptacular is a celebration of all things coastal – especially shrimp! To make it easy and affordable for your family to enjoy seafood twice a week (as recommended by the American Heart Association) during National Seafood Month, head over to their Facebook page for ways to enjoy and save. There you’ll find money-saving coupons and weekly prizes celebrating Shrimptacular. Then you’ll be ready to  enjoy Shrimptacular by grabbing some delicious seafood options in the frozen aisle of your grocery store.

But seafood isn’t just for celebrating fall festivals. With school in session, after school activities, and sports seasons in full swing — sometimes a simple victory is making it through a hectic day knowing what is for dinner. From golden, crispy popcorn shrimp on a chilly fall night after practice to a savory shrimp scampi entrée for date night, coastal inspired meals make everyday occasions special.

For great seafood recipes and to join in the Shrimptacular fun, join SeaPak on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest for more details!

SocialMoms wants to join in the fun! Leave a comment with your favorite shrimp meal for the chance to win a $100 gift card!
