The rewards of being a parent are priceless. And for many people, being a parent creates a purpose in life. But anything that is rewarding can also be challenging. And parenting it definitely one of those things that is challenging at times.

Being the traveling parent is my biggest parenting challenge right now.  I travel a lot on my new job – something fairly new to me – and parenting on the road has brought a new set of unexpected challenges.  Like an unexpected phone call asking "Mommy, do I have to eat breakfast today, I'm still full from last night?"  Things that would normally not be a problem are now an issue because I'm not their physically to handle the matter.  It's daunting at times, but I know it'll work out as we adjust to the new arrangements.Smile

balance finding a balance between kids, between work and home, and other responsibilites, finding time for myself or with my spouse and a balance in discipline.
