Grief is an important, painful step, as you move through dealing with the loss of a loved one. I lost a child 2 1/2 years ago. She was born sleeping. Although it isn't something I have gotten over and I know I never will, I have learned to live with it in acceptance, taking one day at a time. My husband has certainly dealt with his grief in a different way than I have. But we are thankful for each other's love, support and shoulders to lean on.

I lost my mom to a car accident almost 5 years ago.  It was such a shock and a tragic loss to all of us.  My body was in shock for at least a year.  Now I am a little better, but I think of her every day morning and night.  When I think of her I get such a sick feeling and start to cry.  I miss her so very much.  My dad is still grief stricken (he was driving when the accident happened – a young kid speeding hit them and my mom flew out the window).  We talk about her a lot but our whole life has changed.  Losing someone no matter what age is a horrible thing.Cry
