Hanukkah may not enjoy the same name recognition (or consistent spelling) as Christmas, but it is a fun holiday with its own family traditions. And gifts and chocolate. What’s not to like?

For kids, the gift giving is a particular appeal, and one of Hanukkah’s many assets (at least from a kid-friendly point of view) is eight nights of presents. As a Christian, I love and respect the holidays, celebrations, and traditions of Judaism.  Hanukkah is one of my very favourite times of the year and I've made certain that my daughter loves these traditions as well.

I do not celebrate Hanukkah but i know a few people who do and they really enjoy it!
