I am a sahm of 5 beautiful children, and I just signed up to go back to school. I loved this article I was so afraid I would be the oldest one there. I am glad other mommies are making the same choice to help their family. I am hoping to become a radiographer or sonographer within the next two years.Laugh

I also enrolled in school.  I actually enrolled in school right before I was laid off in 2008 and then suffered a nervous breakdown so I had to stop going to school to focus on getting better.  Now that I am coping and dealing with life better, I am back at school.  It's hard with small children but I am dealing with it.  I am taking it slow and this time I will finish my second degree.

I'm thinking about going back to school, there is more I want to learn. Grow as a person, be able to help others in the area that interests me. In order to help others, I want to make sure I know, all the facts.

When i was growing up .. i wanted to go to college after high school but work was more important.. then came my 3 kids.. ok well .. put the college idea on hold.. so in 2005 i started at a college but later found out they werent nationally accredited.. so i switched to davenport univ .. went to a campus in Merrillville IN..  it was smooth sailing till i took an algebra course and failed it.. they didnt allow me to repeat it so i had to drop out and switched to a community college.. well that didnt work out.. now.   now i am a student at Univ of Phoenix online classes and its working out.. all those credits of mine from a prev college transferred and i am so much closer in getting my assoc degree at my "old" age.. so when i do graduate its still going to rough getting a job in my degree but i feel it will be beneficial to others.. and to myself Laugh
