Sasha Afanasieff is the VP of account services for SocialMoms.com and is responsible for managing our community, brand programs, and events. She joined SocialMoms.com as the first full-time employee in 2009. She has been instrumental in expanding the SocialMoms social media presence on Twitter and Facebook, and is passionate about bringing the best possible opportunities to the SocialMoms community. By connecting brands with the SocialMoms members, she has helped many bloggers grow their personal brands and increase their visibility online. Prior to joining SocialMoms, Sasha served as the manager of marketing communications at Silicon Storage Technology, Inc., a manufacturer of a diversified range of memory and non-memory products.
Nikki Katz is the managing editor of SocialMoms.com. Nikki is an author, editor, rocket scientist, and mother of three. She has been a freelance writer and blogger for over a decade, writing for About.com, iVillage, b5media, and BlogWorld. In her “free time” she writes novels for young adults, volunteers on the PTA board, and chauffeurs her kids to all their various activities. Alysha Pascua joined SocialMoms.com in 2010 fresh from earning her degree in at UC Santa Cruz. She serves as the director of community relations and helps Sasha with brand programs. She works closely with both brands and moms in our network to ensure the highest levels of customer service, solving problems like nobody’s business. In her spare time she enjoys arts and crafts, reading and staying physically active.
